A Texel stay of the highest quality – Hotel De Lindeboom
We were allowed to stay a few days at Hotel De Lindeboom and as far as we are concerned, one can call this hotel without hesitation an example of how Welcoming and solidity can go hand in hand, with the flair of an innkeeper from a better time.
The rooms are generously sized, tastefully decorated and so quiet that one hears one's own thoughts once again — a rare pleasure. The beds are cozy, the bathroom functions like a Swiss clock and even the view seems carefully selected.
The staff is friendly in that pleasant, non-intrusive way that is only found in people who understand their profession: correct, personable, with a genuine smile. One feels welcome, without being obliged to talk about the weather.
Breakfast is nothing less than an ode to the morning man: a rich variety of bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, eggs, and — it serves separately — truly delicious coffee. The evening meals are equally worthy of recommendation: expertly prepared, generously presented, and served with taste.
The location is practical, the prices are by no means reasonable, there is an elevator that does what he promises and a private parking space that saved us a lot of trouble.
In short: Hotel De Lindeboom is a model of what a hotel should be. A place where comfort, tranquility and quality combine to create a stay that one remembers with pleasure. And yes, that coffee... it is truly exceptional.

Nice cozy hotel, nice clean room, good staff, great breakfast and dinner.
We also had a great dinner there once in the evening.
The hotel is located on the square and so you can walk to all shops and restaurants.
You can park behind the hotel for a fee.
In short, a fantastic hotel, highly recommended if you go to Texel.
