Mont-Sant Hotel is located on the mountain which leads to Xàtiva Castle, where the Borgias were born. It is a boutique hotel with a swimming pool. Set in an old farm house, the Mont-Sant is surrounded by gardens.

Stayed as a family in 2 x rooms for 2 days. Lovely cool rooms with the 38 degree heat outside this was such a relief. The hotel is in such a beautiful setting and was so relaxing. Had pool to ourselves on both days. Staff all lovely. Trip to castle is fab and Xàtiva is a little gem to explore.

This is a very nice hotel situated below the castle and above the town og Xativa. The service is really good, and the staff are friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the laid back atmosphere of the hotel. The room eas clean with a spacious bath and great air conditioning.

Charming property on the road up to the castle in Xativa. The room was clean. The amenities and service are both a bit lacking. There was no water or coffee maker in the room. The pool area is lackluster (only 4 or 5 cheap lounge chairs, no drinks or towels available; you have to bring bath towels from your room to pool). Fine for a one-night stay.

Clean room with extremely comfortable king size bed.
Lovely balcony to sit on with great views all around and there was a great selection of different teas/coffee with kettle.
Fridge with mini bar and free water which was daily replenished.
Towels for swimming pool provided which I made good use of.
Swimming pool entrance was sticking so hard to get into pool and had to get help.
Staff were very helpful and friendly especially in reception, but occasionally hard to find in the bar and eating areas.
Breakfast plentiful, but second time used, we were unable to get orange juice.
Restaurant menu a bit rich and not varied enough for our taste and unable to just get a snack unless ordered to your room outside of mealtime hours.
Beautiful location and easy to get to the castle from this hotel.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom which I photographed . Staff in restaurant definitely need training as rude and unprofessional and not able even to explain contents of a cheeseboard . Charged over 5 euros for one slice of bread which was described as bread basket With a lot of trouble we were anke to Rebe the second slice
