Perfect stay at Hotel Lino – Vigo
We stayed one night at Hotel Lino and the experience could not have been better.
Since the arrival, the service was irreproachable: friendly, fast and always available to help with everything we needed.
The team demonstrated tremendous professionalism and hospitality, making us feel truly welcome.
The room was impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet — perfect for resting after a day of travel.
The location of the hotel is another strength, allowing you to explore Vigo with ease.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend the Hotel Lino to visiting Vigo.

I feel at home
I have been stopping at this hotel for over 19 years. It is a hotel that is completely renovated, exceptional location. But above all, for me the best thing about it is the exceptional treatment that all the staff at this hotel give me; that make me feel at home.

Perfect for breakfast
Found this on our way to the train station. Lovely toast and very nice coffee made for a perfect light breakfast. While the place is simply decorated the quality of the food, drink and service made this our regular for the rest of our stay!

Good coffee and croissant before catching the train
Was at Hotel Restaurante Lino, Vigo for breakfast before catching a train to Santiago. Hotel Lino was close to the new train station: Renfe Station Urzaiz (my train was bound for Santiago de Compostela).

Terrible receptionist; room completely different from pictures available online. Not good value for money.
We stayed one night in this hotel and I wouldn't recommend it to friends for a number of reasons.
First, we were traveling as a couple and, as you can understand, we wanted to make sure we had a double-bed room instead of a twin-bed room.
Firstly, we wrote down on the comment section of our online reservation what kind of room we wanted and why. Secondly, as we arrived to Vigo one day earlier than our check-in date (as we were on our way to Cies Islands) we decided to drop by Hotel Lino and again make sure our reservation was in place and we were getting what we wanted. The main reason for our concern was the fact we could only check in late in the afternoon, as we were staying in the Island until 7pm. When we arrived to the Hotel we talked to the receptionist, which even at first contact was not exactly the most friendly person. But then she did look professional. We explained to her that we had a reservation for the next day, that we wanted a double-bed room and that we could only check in late in the day. She reassured us the reservation was in place, that we would get the double-bed room and there was no reason to worry. We even offered to pay the room then, to assure everything was in place, and again she said there was no need for that. Next day, when we arrived at the Hotel at 8pm (as expected) we were given a twin-bed room, with no window to the street, no balcony, no AC and that looked nothing like the pictures they have available online. The room was dark, stuffy and had terrible deco. I went to the reception and asked what happened and why we were given a different room to what had previously been agreed. The lady was extremely defensive, unpleasant and made some rude remark about not being able to hold rooms when we were checking in so late. All and all was a pretty terrible experience. The room was clean - that's a plus, I guess. But apart from that I felt like I was disrespected and I was conned. Later that evening the Hotel did try to make up for us by offering us breakfast the next morning. We appreciate the gesture, but that doesn't erase the bad experience and the bad impression. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone in my network. There are way too many options in Vigo and many of them look quite nice and good value for money. This was not the case of Hotel Lino, so please do not go there!
