Great, idyllic hotel

We spent 7 nights in October at Agroturisme Gossalba and enjoyed our time there very much. The location is quiet and idyllic among olive trees and perfect for driving to all corners of the island. The rooms are pleasantly large, clean and equipped with everything you need. In autumn, it can get a little colder at night, but this is no problem with a sweater. The Mallorcan breakfast is delicious with local, fresh produce and is prepared with a lot of love. The always open small bar with drinks and snacks for self-service makes your stay even more enjoyable. I would like to highlight the excellent service: Wiley and the team were always available, competent and flexible, whether it was late check-in, early Check-out or sending our front door key (which we left in the safe). Overall, we keep our visit to Agroturisme Gossalba in very good memory.

Little piece of paradise’

Impeccable, tucked away, piece of paradise! Ken and Caty are amazing hosts this this wonderful property that makes you feel off the planet. Beautifully decorated amidst the lush of the serene olive gardens, this is a place perfect for families or a romantic getaway. Having a wonderful breakfast whipped up by Ken and Caty every morning compromising of fresh bakery goods, fruits, charcuteries and juices makes you not wanting to leave - make sure to choose the breakfast option. The surrounding area has a lot of history and great restaurants, and the managing coupe can point you to the best spots.
All in all highly recommended!

unsatisfied & dissappointing

Our expectations were much higher so we ended being dissappointed.
Price value is not ok in our opinion.
Stituated close to noisy street so a lot of car noise (in room and garden / pool / breakfast)
Service very limited (beds are only made after two nights they say), no pool towels when you can’t find the staff, ..)
Breakfast was quite poor, small portions, not so tatsy
Overall, dissappointed for what you pay we really get more elsewhere

good hosts and nice area

Ken and Cathy are fantastic hosts. They really try best to make you feel welcome.
Unfortunately, there are small things that are "unfavorable".
Because the water is heavily chlorinated, it is worth informing guests that it is not suitable for drinking. It would be nice if there was even water in the room for brushing teeth (water from taps has a very strong taste of chlorine). It is worth adding skirting boards in the rooms to avoid a dirty wall near the floor. A sink at 115 cm is definitely too high for comfortable washing.
The camera in the dining room and the camera "looking" at the pool deprive the guests of comfort.
I would recommend the rooms at the back of the building because there is a lot of noise during the week from the road and you can forget about sleeping after 6 am, except when the balcony door is closed. (Cathy offered me a room from the back which I initially requested in my booking)
The rooms don’t have good lighting for reading unless you take the lamp shade off.
The balcony has a chair and a table only when you sit on a chair that you can not see anything from the beautiful landscape because the balcony wall is too high. Ken and Cathy try very hard to make you feel comfortable during your stay and give you good breakfasts (cold but you can’t expect more for 10 Euro).

Dear Robert,
Thank you very much for your recent visit at Agroturisme Gossalba and for taking your time in sharing your opinion.
In relation to your comments we do want to inform you that our water is definitely not heavily chlorinated, actually it is completely good for daily use as our controls show. However, and in case you don't like the taste of the tap water of the island, we do have a bar where you can take anything you need, including bottles of water, at any time of the day or night, as the ones we brought to your room.
Regarding to security cameras, it is actually highly recommended in all touristic establishments to have them because of security reasons. In any case, no one has acces to those images unless there is a very serious problem, so there is no problem at all with privacy for our guests.
Moreover, we do have rooms with balconies and rooms with terrace where you directly sit in the valley, and we did offer you both alternatives. Even though you had booked the standard one we offered you an upgrade to a superior room free of charge, so you were able to choose the room you wanted and in which terrace to sit and watch the views. In all rooms, height of the sink is the regulatory one.
However, we want to thank you again for taking your time in telling us your opinion, it is always very important for us to fulfill our guests wishes.
We really hope to welcome you again at the Agroturisme.

Highly Recommended

What an amazing find, surrounded by olive trees and offering perfect tranquility. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a large modern bathroom. Ken and Cati were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was lovely offering a good selection of cold meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, delicious homemade cakes and then eggs and bacon..if you had space..all served at the table overlooking the pool and amazing views over the farm. Would have liked to stay longer...
