friendly staff, great location & rooms
I stayed in a premium room on an upper floor, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the balcony is large with a table and two chairs.
The staff are all very helpful and welcoming, rooms are serviced every three days and new towels provided.
The swimming pool is impressive with large roman steps leading into a good size pool to swim in, along with a smaller kids/relaxation pool, and gets the sun all day. Fayna provide very large sunbed/beach towels for the sunbeds so you don't need to bring your own.
(nb some renovation work was taking place but it didn't bother me and i think they were almost finished when i was there at the end of May to first week of June 2026).

I would not repeat
We would not return, they came in one day to clean and the only thing they did was make the beds, they did not change anything or replace soap or toilet paper or, of course, towels.
However, I have to say that the reception staff are very friendly.
The area, despite being surrounded by hotels, is quiet and the beds are comfortable.

This was not a good experience
Told on arrival that there was works going on floor 4,which was my floor. Work started at 9hrs some days, not 10hrs as told through until 1600hrs daily. Had to get up and leave every day due to the noise. Could not use the pool area as there was maintenance around the entire pool area. If I had known this before arrival, I would have not chosen this hotel. The staff were excellent and rooms comfortable.

100% perfect!
We had lovely time at Fayna, absolute recommended hotel! Excellent location, close to beach and town, very spaceous apartment, beautiful view. The cleanliness was perfect and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Great location, great value, great reception team
For me Fayna was exactly as advertised, although the welcome and friendliness of the hotel team was an added bonus. Especially Ana on reception, who was genuinely friendly, professional and always made conversations
The location is great, between the beach and the Yumbo centre (10 minute walk), plus two large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk.
The apartment complex felt very secure and only hotel guests can enter the complex using their key card. There are restrictions on guests, which may be an issue for some, but this is clearly stated in the booking terms.
On arrival I was greeted by Ana and although I was early and a last minute repair was needed to my allocated apartment, the hotel was happy for me to store my luggage and use the safe in my room so l could head straight out to meet friends.
The apartment is huge, modern compared to some in the resort and appears to have had recent renovations. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and had a great nights sleep every night. Also a large balcony, with table and chairs, which gets the sun most of day if you choose a higher floor room. Kitchen equipped for what you need, although could be even better if had a combination microwave, rather than a standard microwave.
The pool and pool area is very clean, gets the sun for most of the day and there are plenty of sun beds and also nice double cabana beds for relaxing on. Beach/pool towels are provided for your stay.
Pool area also quiet and only a handful of people using it whilst I was there.
Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back.
Finally, be aware of the no guest policy. it wasn’t really a problem for me as I worked around it and went to friend's property to socialise.
All in all a great stay.
