A long autumn break in Estartit appt 3-2 Brieses del Mar

We were looking for a quiet "out of season" break, and having been to Estartit before in summer and enjoyed walking in the hills nearby, and visiting cities of Girona and Figures and Barcelona, thought we would take a longer break and enjoy the resort when it's quiet. We arranged through Prestigi the estate agents. Bill, at Pestigi, a Scott, is most helpful. The flats are individually owned, We stayed in 3-2 on the top floor. During the 3 week stay there was a problem with the washing machine which was promptly replaced by a new one. Great service!
By November Estartit is becoming quiet, some resteraunts closed or only open weekends. However the town still has all the basics open and several bars and resteraunt , so always enough if you want to eat out.
3-2 is on the top floor, so from the second row back from the sea you still get an oblique sea view. The fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher and full cooker means that you don't need to eat out. The Spar grocers nearby has a good selection of fruit and veg as does the other "winter " nearby supermarket in avenue de Gracia.
The flat is spacious and we used the second (twin beds) bedroom or my son and partner who came to stay for one of the weeks. There is a sofa bed in the main room so 6 could be accommodated but for a long break the flat is ideal for 2 or 4 adults.
From May to September Estartit is good for beach holidays, (and for scuba diving) very near the massive sandy beach and with a nice town. Autumn and winter it's a great place for walking, and for visiting northern Catalan towns and cities. The town of Estartit (and nearby Torella) are never dead. They are real places, so have a life year round.

Nicely situated

These apartments are right in the centre of tow and have private parking. This is ideal. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away. There is a small pool which adequately serves the apartments. It is very well cleaned and has sun loungers around on the grassed area.
The air conditioned apartment had two bedrooms, lounge, fully fitted kitchen bath with shower. The balcony was accessed from both the lounge and the main bedroom.
We would definitely return here.

Happy Holliday

Alles prima! Es ist alles vorhanden, was nötig ist! Der Strand ist quasi vor der Tür!
Ebenso das Stadtzentrum!
Etwas abgewöhnt, doch sehr sauber!
Perfekt für einen Familienurlaub!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Para mi, de los mejores

Es nuestra tercera reserva de apartamento en l'Estartit.
Era una planta baja con tumbonas, sillas y mesa. Ahh, y tendedero...
Buen aire acondicionado, buenos sofás y genial distribución. La cama de matrimonio un poco pequeña...
La piscina con entrada en el mismo rellano, limpia, con poco gente, silenciosa, con tumbonas.... Muy agradable!
El parking particular, aunque descubierto, es de mucho agradecer.
Ubicación genial, pero no tienes vistas al mar... En mi opinión, no lo he echado de menos, me ha compensado de sobras todo lo demás... La playa está a 3 minutos.
Aceptan mascotas. El wifi se paga aparte. Cocina muy bien equipada.
En general sólo nos faltó un secador.
En la agencia un trato genial.
Buena opción!

Cher pour un appartement vetuste

Nous avons loué un appartement dans cette résidence proche de la mer. A première vue, l'appartement semble correct. Mais en cherchant pas longtemps, on découvre une baignoire rouillée, le carrelage qui tombe en ruine à la salle de bain et la terrasse. Fenêtre donnant sur la terrasse qui ne se ferme plus et qui nous oblige à fermer les stores lorsque l'on quitte l'appartement la journée. La climatisation est mise à disposition mais qui fait sauter les plombs si vous l'enclenchez. Propreté douteuse à certains endroits. Ampoules défectueuses dans la chambre à coucher. Un supplément de 6€ par jour est demandé si vous souhaitez obtenir de la Wi-Fi.
