Warm Hospitality

My friend and I stayed here recently while walking the Camino to Santiago and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we came through the door. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street and everything was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was excellent. This is a charming place to stay, artistically decorated and within walking distance of major attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

All a bit tired looking

A very modest establishment which could do with some tlc. The hosts are pleasant and welcoming but they do not speak English. A good location but not easy to park (only in the street, which is limited) Street noise early in the morning, eg dustbin men. Easy walk to bars and inexpensive restaurants. Breakfast extra and all bread based. You can do better in cafes nearby.

Homely & welcoming

We stayed in a nice cosy room with the lovely traditional enclosed balcony (the wooden windows only need some renovation).
The hosts (wo by the way don't speak English) are very friendly and hospitable. You can tell by the effort the put in it and how everything looks, they want you to feel at home.
De posada is located in the old center, very close to the plaza with some bars and restaurants. We
P.S. if you like to eat fish the Gurea restaurant should be a good (it was closed now).

Central, clean with caring hosts

We stayed 4 nights and took time to look around Comillas and the local area. It was low season and quiet in the Posada. In high season the town is probably full and vibrating with energy. Lots of interesting old houses. We especially liked El Capricho de Gaudi. Fantastic beaches. Good walking inland.

Friendly servicw

Well met with friendly advice. Very comfortable, clean and central. Recommend to anybody visiting the area. Wish we had more time. Visit the waterfront for great food and views over the water. Best sunset.
