A lovely Modern Hotel
Had a lovely holiday, we asked to change to a room with 3 single beds but unfortunately the hotel couldn't accommodate. The beds are hard but the rooms themselves are really nice and modern.
We took paddleboards and the hotel allowed us to lock them up when not in use so found that an added bonus. The aircon in the public areas where too hot but in our room was ok. The bathroom is amazing with plenty of shelving, tv in room couldn't get netflix think we needed a cable, the fidge worked well and there's a safe that didn't have any locking mechanism but we took our own so didn't find out how that worked.
We drove and so parked in there secure carpark, the lady did try and charge us for 15 days but we had only been there 11. The hotel doesn't have too much around it shops or bars to visit and the entertainment in hotel was more for the Spanish. I will say everyone in the hotel worked really hard and over all was a good experience.

We had a drainage sewage smell really bad in our room, which they could not move us immediately. They were not great at handling this issue, we felt like an inconvenience to them. No consideration about the fact that we had to endure it for two nights, and then had to spend a full morning packing up all on her own being out of a room for the best part of the day and unpacking. The room that we did get was felt like a downgrade less storage space, holes in the sheets, holes in the wall. I did send my dissatisfaction to the manager at handling of the issue but never got a response . Just ignored, like we are asking for a lot after spending over 2k for a stay.
The rooms are really not suited for families. They’re very small. The food hall was not air-conditioned well. The meals were very much the same every day.for example, Only one day was there pancakes for breakfast which our little girl was hoping for a week full of pancakes and waffles. no themes and only radiation at lunches was potentially a change of fish or pork to chicken.

Very poor value for money for a 4-star hotel
We are at Hotel Augustus and would like to highlight the main positive point of our stay: the staff members are very friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, at €300-400per night, the experience fell far short of expectations for a 4-star hotel
Housekeeping Issues: Housekeeping hasn't come to clean our room in two days, despite explicit requests.
Cramped Family Room: Far too small for a family to stay comfortably, with a severe lack of space to move around or store luggage.
Hidden Extras: Even with the All-Inclusive package, everything costs extra—including parking and even drinks!
Paying this rate for neglected service, cramped rooms, and constant extra fees is unacceptable. The value for money is very poor.

Lovely stay in Hotel Augustus
Had a lovely stay here in peak season, hotel full capacity yet managed to have a lovely quiet feel about it. Entertainment was not required or attended by us, but was not at all intrusive. 2 large double beds in room were perfect for space, expecially in peak summer temperatures. Would certainly return.

Excellent location, with friendly staff always ready to help! The facilities are always clean, the rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. The food is very diverse, suitable for both adults and children.
