Large family holiday
Absolutely amazing place, loads of sun beds around the pools or in the lovely grass area where you could be in the sun or shade listening to the sea.
After reading the previous reviews I was worried about the food but I cannot complain about any of the food. Great choice, fresh with themed evenings too.All the drinks were lovely although the bar in the evening could do with more staff to ease the queue.
Entertainment was great we loved the quizzes and my grandchildren loved the kiddie disco and the Tui robot.
Silent disco & outside by the pool silent movie night. The rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday with great air conditioning.
We went as a family of 15 and I cannot think of a single thing that I could complain about.
If you walk out of the hotel you are by the shops, bars and restaurants within 10/ 15 minutes, there’s a bus from the hotel but we didn’t use it as the walk was lovely.
Would definitely return

Hotel itself is ok, but many of the staff are incredibly rude. We’ve stayed in Cala Bona / Cala Millor for 15 years and never had a bad experience until we stayed at Grupotel.
Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Will not stay again.
Lovely setting in this hotel.
Unfortunately the food let it down completely. We are not fussy & have been to a few all inclusive holidays. This is by far the worse food experience. Hardly any choice, cold & bland. cereal & bread stale, things not topped up. Orange juice was watered down. Hardly any staff in the restaurant. We resorted to eating out.
Rooms are spacious but tea & coffee do not get topped up & neither does the shower gel.
This hotel has 2 separate areas so have to cross a road & walk to other end of area to get to snack bar. Could do with a snack bar in both areas.
Pools are lovely & plenty of sunbeds all around.

Brilliant hotel, kept clean and great location.
Lovely hotel which is well maintained and kept very clean!
The food was good and always something to eat.
The cocktails are very sweet and queues at night for a drink, however the services is good and you don’t have to wait to long.
The pools are lovely as well as the spa downstairs.
Great location and handy shuttle bus to go to and from Cala Millor beach.
The entertainment is typical off an all inclusive the entertainment staff work very hard, a big shout out to Ashley who was always smiling and welcoming.
We are coming back next year with all the family.
The food was good and always something to eat.

Let down by TUI
Be careful what room you book !!
Booked a one bedroom apartment, when we went to the room the bedroom had no door, we went back to the desk and complained saying without a door it was a studio and not as booked. Manager disagreed saying it was not a studio it was a 1 Bed Apt.
When I asked about an upgrade to an apt with a bed door the only one available had a sea view and was going to cost 50 euro extra per night (WOW)
Tui rep was of no use, saying if we stayed in the room with no door for 5 days they would move us for the remaining 2 days and compensate us, they didn't say how much though, plus the holiday would have been ruined.
Rather than ruin a £2K+ holiday we paid 350 euro and took the sea view.
When we got back home we put in a second complaint as the rep cancelled the first one mid week ?
Tui called me back and apparently as I paid rather than accept their stupid offer it was down to me.

We would, however, like to clarify several points, as the situation described does not accurately reflect what occurred during your stay.
First and foremost, you booked and received exactly the room type that was advertised and confirmed in your reservation: a one-bedroom apartment. The apartment provided fully met the description, including the layout, separate living and sleeping areas, and the advertised square metres. The fact that the bedroom area did not have a door does not change the classification of the accommodation. It remains a one-bedroom apartment, as the different living spaces are clearly separated. A studio apartment, by definition, is significantly smaller and consists of a single open-plan living and sleeping space, which was not the case here.
During our conversation at reception, we fully understood that your personal preference was to have a bedroom with a door. While we respect that preference, it does not mean that the apartment originally assigned to you was different from what you had booked.
You also stated at the time that you were willing to pay any supplement necessary in order to move to an apartment with a bedroom door. Unfortunately, the hotel was operating at very high occupancy levels, and the only apartments available for relocation were superior sea-view apartments. As a result, the applicable upgrade supplement was quoted and accepted by you before the move took place.
We therefore find it difficult to agree with the suggestion that your holiday was "ruined" when, after booking an apartment without any specific view category, you chose to move into a larger upgraded apartment with views of the Mediterranean Sea. Many guests specifically pay a premium to enjoy these views, and we are pleased that we were able to offer this alternative despite the limited availability at the time.
We regret that the original apartment layout did not match your personal expectations, but we must respectfully point out that the accommodation provided corresponded to the room type booked, and that the subsequent move was arranged at your request and with your agreement regarding the associated supplement.
