Great option with pool in Cáceres - renovated hotel
In August, I consider the pool essential due to the warmth that can be felt in Cáceres. The hotel has been renovated, the rooms are good and spacious, and the shower has good quality.
The staff is friendly and some employees try to speak Portuguese.
The hotel is outside the centre of Cáceres, about 3.5 km, or 6-7 € by taxi.
I recommend!

Frankly disappointed...
Stay from July 16 to 20 - Room 511 with breakfast included package + parking €20/day
Hotel poorly located and at the foot of an expressway, reception moderately welcoming.
Upon my arrival, I insisted on the fact that the package I booked included an upgrade to a premium room; the front desk confirmed to me that it was indeed the type of room I would have.
Heading to room 304, and there, 1st issue, it is not a premium room because it does not have a balcony.
Heading to the front desk to explain that it is not right to take one's customers for fools and that I wish to have what I am entitled to.
So, heading to room 511, a medium-sized room, twin beds, a decent-sized TV, a decent-sized bathroom, double vanity, walk-in shower, and separate toilet with a soft-close seat, a ridiculously small balcony, and an unobstructed view of the expressway. The room's soundproofing is poor; we were disturbed several times by the neighboring room, not to mention the doors of other rooms slamming loudly.
And what can I say about the housekeeping service? The first 2 days the room was not cleaned; on Sunday we left at 9:30 AM and returned at 4:30 PM, and the room still hadn't been cleaned despite a 7-hour window to do it. After pointing it out, we had to wait 30 minutes at the reception for it to be done.
The breakfast buffet is hearty but 100% industrial, except for the orange juice, which is offered via a machine with fresh oranges. I did not appreciate that the person taking your room number insisted on seating you at a specific table.
On-site dining is possible, and we ate there once; the price charged is not in line with what is offered. It is expensive and not good; for my part, I had a hamburger, ordered at 8:30 PM and served at 8:35 PM....
Overall, all the extras are overpriced; a simple bottle of Lanjaron water, €4.20...
At the time of departure, not a word, not a thank you for your stay, not a have a safe trip, nothing, just pay your extras and that's it...
In short!
I do not recommend this hotel for the various reasons mentioned above; go to the casco historico instead, you will find better and certainly cheaper options.

Excellent Value for money
Extremely comfortable modern hotel a short taxi ride from the amazing historic centre of Caceres. Excellent facilities and food. I booked their underground parking but the hotel has lots of its own free parking.

Great place to stay. Lovely room. Friendly staff. Locally sourced quality breakfast. Truly good food. We didn´t try the restaurant. Swimming pool lovely, just take into account the opening hours, it´s not open early or late.
