A great place to stay and eat

This quaint hotel in the hamlet of Bode, near Arriondas in the foothills of the Picos de Europa is a great place to stay and to eat if you want to stay in unspoilt, beautiful Asturian countryside. You are 5 minutes by road from the canoe rental places on the Sella river and half an hour from fabulous beaches in one direction and amazing mountain scenery in the other. The Buho de la Remolina is a family run hotel and Carlos and Humi run it in a very friendly and welcoming way. Carlos is a brilliant cook, always sourcing the best ingredients locally and cooking them in an unpretentious manner. If you are not staying at the hotel you can order a meal there - there is no set menu you just let Carlos know in time so he can get to the market. The hotel is owl themed (Buho means Owl) and a vivid purple colour, set in gardens and very safe for children.

What a find!!

Charming hosts and tasty home cooked meals from seasonal ingredients and the best mojhitos I've ever had!! Family friendly! Just like staying with family ( in a good way!!). Close to the Spanish Jurassic Coast. Lovely time.

Vacaciones de ensueño

Unos días encantadores, como si estuvieramos en casa, una atención 10 por parte de los dueños Carlos y Humy que no atendió en todo momento como de la familia y siempre muy risueña y cordial, nos organizo viajes y recomendó la lugares para conocer y comer Lo recomiendo al 100 x 100 volveremos.

Maravilloso lugar

Un maravilloso lugar, tiene muchísimo encanto y es precioso. Muy bien ubicado para visitar Asturias. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas y con unas vistas espectaculares, todo super limpio y cómodo. Los desayunos buenísimos.
Los propietarios Humi y Carlos son unos encantos, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Sus perros simpáticos y cariñosos.
Humi es maravillosa, nos ayudó y aconsejo para visitar sitios que sin su ayuda no habríamos descubierto.
Gracias por todo familia, nos hemos sentido super cómodos.
Volveremos.

Perfecto

Este año hemos vuelto al Búho de la remolina,y otra vez lo han conseguido, hacernos sentir en casa.El hotel está cada año más bonito,se nota lo bien que lo cuidan todo muy limpio.
Los días que hemos estado eran las fiestas de Arriondas,un ambiente genial muy divertido.
Sin duda volveremos
Gracias a Humi por sus desayunos estupendos ,sus buenas sugerencias de visitas y excursiones y su buen humor mañanero
