No Response Until It Was Too Late — Left Traveling With a Child and No Place to Sleep

I contacted this hotel on June 12 to confirm late check-in because my flight arrives late and I am traveling with my 7-year-old child. They never answered my calls, messages, or emails. The cancellation window closed on June 17, and only after that they finally rejected my request.
Now I am arriving late at night in Bilbao with a child and no place to sleep. If late check-in was not possible, they should have told me before the cancellation deadline. Very poor and stressful experience.

They don’t refund money

Do not book this accommodation. Took money out of my account within 2 hours of booking and even after cancelling where I had free cancellation no refund was made to my account which was over £500. Tried to contact them numerous times and they will not respond to you. PLEASE BE AWARE

cheap place next to the train station

It was ok considering the cheap price, but a bit unfresh feeling in the room. We had to keep the window open for many hours since there was a very strong smell of cleaning soaps and the room was stuffy. Next to the train station so that was handy. You can hear people coming and going in the hallway during the night.

Unresponsive Hotel

I've made a booking for next year and need to change some details but they hotel is being super unresponsive - tried emailing, phoning, whatsapp and facebook so far but nothing seems to be acknowledged. Can't recommend this hotel based on the initial experience

Beware of the reservations you make, they are suddenly cancelled without taking care of their clients and without just notice.

I'm gonna talk about something that happened to me so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
I made a Reservation by phone at the PENSION BILBAO two months ago to enter on 31/10 and leave on 02/11 (2 nights bridge of saints) double room 116€, I confirm the Reservation by phone and WhatsApp, payment on arrival.
When making the Reservation were insistent that I rush to confirm because there was almost no availability.
I ask about the parking last week, they tell me that they have everything reserved (it is a parking of X garage spaces and it is understood that there is no room).
They called me yesterday on the phone saying that they have to cancel my Reservation because they can not accommodate us because they came up with an unexpected and they will make reforms.
I tell him that then we will be relocated to another tourist establishment or something (knowing that this detour would have to be taken care of by them) and they politely tell me in other words not to look for my life and leave us 10 days from the entrance being a bridge without Reservation, with the consequence that there is no longer so much availability in the accommodations and the prices since I made the Reservation have now skyrocketed.
I don’t want to think wrong but we found that the dates are full, they have decided that we left over because the price they gave us was a wrong price not remembering that there was a bridge and being a stay of two nights, they have preferred to leave some customers lying than endure an ovebooking.
Of course Pension Bilbao in the city of Bilbao is catalogued on its own with these actions towards its customers, so if you go there be careful that the same thing does not happen to you, an ovebooking we have it all but you have to know how to manage it and not have so much face of leaving customers adrift.
