Cheap and cheerful
For the price these apartments were way better than I thought! In residential area beside police station so noisy week days at 9am when officers are starting shift and chatting. Neighbour had birds who also chirped along with chatter of police officers. We were front of building with balcony. Also other tourists were quite noisy coming in at 2am so sleep not great. Apartments themselves were clean, cleaners came every day and replenished towels and made beds. There was soap for hand basin and shower gel (hand soap smelt nice) but we brought our own shower gel so never used. Hairdryer as well on twin room with balcony. Double wardrobe with 6 hangers. Tv only had one English Channel but hey we didn't go on holiday to watch tv. Just 5 mins away there was supermarkets and beach close as well. Negatives were checking in at main hotel but tbf it's 5 mins away, no safe or fridge but again it was cheap. Used Fleming hotel pool on rooftop and whilst small it has great views. Sunbeds uncomfortable and pool cold as April but view worth a visit. Free to use. Whilst it's away from nightlife I feel it wasn't quiet so wouldn't return to this area unless mega cheap as we ended up getting taxis to new town for entertainment one night. All in all way better than I thought!

Avoid at all costs > defo won't go back to this hotel!!!
Wehwn we arrived on July the 7th, there was no staff at all. There was a note on the door, saying you have to check in elsewhere no prior notification, email, text or WhatsApp message from the hotel about this.
Then finally was given room, it was the wrong room: I've booked a room with a balcony and they gave me a room with just a window and that room, 305, looked out over a ghetto.
Back again to the reception in that other building, where I showed them the reservation > finally, after a long waut dealing with systems in the computer, I received a room with a balcony, 503.
No apology, nothing at all. For them it appeared to be "normal" that paying tourist had to come to that reception more than once.
I also had to ask everything myself, like about the breakfast, WI-FI password, etc > no information came from themselves at all.
I had the idea that receptionist just did something and hoped for the best.
On arrival in this room:
* there was no plug for the bath, so that didn't happen
* there were hairs on the floor in both the bathroom as well as in the bedroom
* there was a plastic wrap from a straw on the floor
* there was a big, yellow stain on 1 of the 2 véry soft pillows
In that hotel, the lift is só small, you can't fit 2 adults + 2 15/20kg checked in suitcases in there at once.
There's 2 vending machines downstairs, a telephone to "call the reception" in the other location
Our 1st breakfast, on July the 8th, we were rudely told by a man that "we couldn't sit at the table next to the window...only 2 of you".
Literally, 30 seconds later, 2 Spanish sat down and he never said a word...clearly I don't look Spanish enough
The Pool only opens from 10.30am to 8pm.
Also, a note regarding the location and driving: since July 2025 you'd need a permit to avoid hefty fines to drive in The Old Town. I've asked the reception about it, they had no clue.

Definitely not a two star!
We booked this hotel thorough On the Beach. The description clearly said that this hotel had been recently refurbished! Umm no it definitely hasn’t! Negatives, right in a built up area where your neighbours have dogs! When one barks on the balcony’s they all respond! You’re also right next to the local police station. With police cars in and out every few seconds carrying people who have been arrested. You don’t get dropped off at the hotel and you have to check in at the main hotel. Then walk three streets away to get to it. The main hotel had clearly been refurbished and was extremely well kept. This one had no reception, no phones to call down to reception at the main hotel either! Also a bath but no plug!
Positives are you aren’t far from the hustle and bustle of old town or from the beaches. The cleaners came in every single day, so we had clean towels and sheets daily.
Definitely would not return, not a two star barely a 1 star!
