What a wonderful surprise this hotel was!! Loved the building and the decor. Our room was lovely and the bed was heavenly! The free breakfast was substantial and kept us going. Highly recommend

Never AGAIN. Stay away!

If I could ask for a refund I would. I am a seasoned traveler with more than 30 years traveling more than 30 countries. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is by far the worst place I have stayed in. Not sure why it was recommended by Expedia. Dirty sheets, breakfast is old and stale (every day is the same food from previous days), and not fresh. You can to serve it yourself and there's not sanitary conditions. Bathroom was shared and dirty. Saw roaches. Lady even asked me to help her get the Water jar from downstairs because it was too heavy for her to carry it and switch it. Far from places in a very steep hill. No good food options nearby. . Never clean the roomSuper loud, people come in and the door don't have stoppers so they banged against and wake up everyone. HORRIBLE experience to say the least. On top of this, it was the most expensive hotel in our Spain trip and I had to pay the private property charge per night!!!! I would like my money BACK!

This property is on a rather steep hill so beware of this. The actual property was very nice- very authentic and well presented, however our rooms shower did not stay on the wall resulting in you having to hold it over you which was a pain in the butt if staying more than a couple of days. A wee bit rickety in some parts but overall a nice place to spend the week.

This place is very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It has a cozy porche and a beautiful courtyard sitting area to enjoy. The breakfast selection was excellent. It needs some minor maintenance issues, such as loose floor tiles in the room and the shower knobs. A couple of suggestions: an extra powder-toilet space for the second floor and a sink in the kitchen area.
It's located within walking distance to Parque Güell and Sagrada Familia.
Overall our stay was a great one and pretty comfortable.
