Wonderful staff

Hotel is a little old and tired but the room was lovely and the staff are exceptional. Most residents were Spanish but all staff were able to understand our needs. Special thanks to Sabina( Mariposa) and Francesco whom we dealt with the most. Rooftop pool was great and location perfect. Would recommend the hotel ,ticked all boxes.

Walls were extremely thin. If your neighbours are having an intimate moment expect to hear everything. Gym and pool area was nice. Locations great. I just didn’t sleep well due to the walls and windows provided to sound protection

Exe Almeria

The hotel is also listed as AC hotel Almeria but is now known as the Exe Almeria Cento.
We stayed for 3 nights in mid December.
The room we stayed in (Solarium suite) was large & comfortable.
Location is great near to the Cathedral, Alcazaba de Almería and Tapas bars & restaurants. The beach is further away but there’s plenty of cheap public transport.
We used the No. 30 bus from the airport which stops a short walk from the hotel & runs every 39 minutes only €1.05 each.
Breakfast buffet was good but cooked options were limited.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
A few minor issues included confusion over the type of room booked resulting in a late check in & also the bath in the room wasn’t clean.

Our room was ok, the air-conditioning didn't work to good but enough to stay comfortable. Staff were excellent.

This is a city centre hotel which is very well placed for all amenities. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos. My room No. 250 was on the back on the building, the view from the window was of a brick wall and there was noise from a nearby restaurant, which went on until the early hours during the weekend.
