Quiet, close to nature place with ocean view

I really enjoyed staying there. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful, well maintained acommodation with pool. Quiet place with sound of ocean waves. Affordable prices. Variety of domestic meals to choose from.
Great for several days.

Paranormal experience

I stayed in room No. 8, although the stay was fine at night I experienced a paranormal event. I came back very scared and I can't explain the horrible feeling I felt at night. I recommend considering this factor in room No. 8

Go on! Let's put shoulder to wheel!

Welcoming staff, interesting environment, honest food, relatively clean rooms but lack of life and dynamism in this hotel! There is a lot of potential but it seems that the heart is not there!
Also, like many hotels in Guatemala, there is no TV, no air conditioning, no hot water...

Not worth the price

The price is quite expensive. For a lower price, we can stay in a hotel in the center of the village with breakfast and air conditioning. What to add?
If the workers are kind, the view of the beautiful sea. But the hotel is far from the center and some days we can not dine in the restaurant.
Not worth the price.

Great Beach Vacation Spot!

Hotel Dulce y Salado was great! The food was delicious and the hotel was extremely accommodating. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beach! I wish I could have stayed longer and I hope to be back soon.
