Scenic location with an amazing hotel.

As a place Stepantsminda is a beautiful town and this hotel has some mesmerizing views of the mountains on both the sides.
Though the hotel is around 700-800 meters walk from city center, but good for the reason a lot of trucks keep passing the city to cross Russian borders which is a big disturbance at night.
The hotel is taken care by the family and the lady owner is so caring and accommodating. She will take care of all the needs.
Breakfast was with plenty of options. Rooms are small but clean and so is the washroom as well.
They gave separate bed for child and rooms were with proper heating arrangements.
All in all an amazing and memorable experience, better to have your own vehicle to go around the town or for excursions.

A hotel or rural house to visit the Kazbegui area

A hotel/rural house located in a place with good views.
The rooms were simple but the installation of air conditioning in the rooms would have been very useful, despite being in a mountain area.
The WIFI signal was acceptable and the breakfast was adequate.

Never again

Please do not do my mistake and don’t trust positive reviews!
The place is not a hotel, it’s a guest house and very poorly managed. There is no reception, no assistance, you can hardly find staff around. You need to text them on WhatsApp and once they are free they will get back to you. The lady is always busy taking care of her own children and not of the guests.
The room is very small, the paint it falling apart, the bedsheets and towels are dirty, we stayed two nights and nobody cleaned or room nor changed the bedsheets and towels!
No tissues in the room, no bottles of water provided, the nearest supermarket is 10 Min away by walk.
The lady arranged for us horse riding and she said that it will take us to the church on the mountain, however the guys with the horses didn’t take us even half way and then turned back and brought us to the hotel before we even realized that’s was it. However we had to pay full price which is a total rip off.
I do not recommend this hotel, it’s not worth the money at all.

Almost unbeatable View

This is a nice pension with an almost unbeatable view of the mountain scenery at a still rather modest price. The owners were kind and helpful, especially when I was slightly sick. The whole place was in good shape, impeccably clean and the breakfast was very rich. If I had eaten all that was served, I couldn´t have gone hiking.

Cosy Hotel in the best place in Stepantsminda!

The hotel stay was very pleasant,comfortable and clean. The owners were very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around . If we were to travel to Stepantsminda again, we would definitely stay there again! Hello to Cooper from the girls :)) Hopefully will see you soon!
