Room worthy of a 4 star hotel

A property located in a strategic point because close to all the beaches of the east coast of Zakynthos, but above all quiet and peaceful. Stunning sea view and room worthy of a 4 star. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Super cleanliness!

Summer 2019

The location was very nice and there was cleaning service every day( insufficient). However, the owners were not there at all and we were given a room (we chose mountain view) where we could not sit by the porch. It was dirty. The room we stayed was at the B4.

Photos don’t match the reality!!!! Big time

Because the tickets where non refundable, we couldn’t do a thing regarding the accomodation. When we arrived the owner told us that the room will be cleaned daily, which they weren’t, and we had to ask personally for fresh towels. When the cleaning was done, it consisted in just changing the towels and sheets. What shocked me, it was the bathroom... it had a clog of dark brunette hair in the shower’s draining... the water’s temperature was fluctuating on a regular basis. In the last 2-3 days, our neighbours cooked a lot of seafood and the ventilating system was inexistant and all the smell was through all the rooms, especially in the bathroom. I couldn’t stand the smell. Also, when the neighbours started the AC ventilation, it made a big noise that woke me up. Nevertheless, the pictures regarding the furniture and the aspect of the room did not coincide with the pictures posted on booking. There were even ants on the walls and on the floor. The wardrobe was absolutely hideous and awfully smelling. A funny thing that i noticed, was that the key from our room matched all the other rooms... which means that anybody could have entered the room at any time...
Even so, the owner was very kind and friendly. The location and the view were spectacular, especially the sunrise from the “studios”. Although the pictures don’t match the reality, it’s good if you don’t have high expectations...

Great location, simple but fantastic people around us !

Blue Horizon has a great location with a fantastic view over the Ionian Sea. Nothing compares with an amazing sunrise from the balcony. The studios are not luxury, are quite simple, but clean and Pavlos together with his family are doing all the best to keep them at the best possible level. Zante Town is near to Blue Horizon, as well as many reference beaches of the island. There are many shops and tavernas around.
