Cozy traditional restaurant at mauntain resort

We have visited the restaurant with couple of friends and we have been surprised by the hospitality of the owner and the personal. If you are close to Edessa (Voden) or Florina (Lerin) in northern Greece than you must go to the village of Agios Athanasios. The place is awsome and the traditional cusine is perfect. Ask for goat cheese with honey and sesamy.

Overvalued for the money cost

I'll start with the positive. Great breakfast, as much as! Nothing was missing! Warm room with beautiful fireplace. The staff very kind and welcoming! From there on, the parking space is an allana that can accommodate 7-8 cars with the rest "closing" each other! Kinky soundproofing. You honestly had a comfortable conversation with the adjacent rooms. Unfortunately the shower cabin is tiny (even for a minute would be difficult to wash). Lack of towels for the bathroom. Very small room.In general for the money neededwe expected something quite better. Maybe a renovation, especially in the bathroom, would improve the situation.

Upgrade asap!

On the positive side of the hostel I would include its central location and the warm, generally nice room we stayed in. On the contrary, I identified several points which create a negative impression. And I'll explain right away...first of all in the room, which was on the ground floor, there were ants that seemed to find their way through some gaps in the floor stones/slabs. Also, the bathroom, although clean, needs immediate renovation in order to justify the price charged per night. An additional downside was the bed, which creaked at the slightest movement. Also particularly annoying was the presence of smoke in the room, without having used the existing fireplace. Finally, the breakfast is quite basic in terms of options and tastes, which again does not correspond to the room charge. Overall, not worth it!

Όμορφη διαμονή

Ο ξενώνας είναι ίσως στο πιο κεντρικό και όμορφο σημείο του χωριού. Μείναμε εκεί για 2 βράδια και η εμπειρία μας ήταν εξαιρετική. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ άνετο και ζεστό, το τζάκι εξοπλισμένο με άφθονα ξύλα και η θέα στο δρομάκι, που ήταν πάντα ζωντανό από περιηγητές, προσέδωσε ζωντάνια. Το εστιατόριο καλύβας που είναι κάτω από τα δωμάτια, είναι με διαφορά το καλύτερο στην περιοχή. Ωστόσο, το πρωινό του αρχοντικού ήταν ελλιπές και τα προϊόντα όχι πολύ φρέσκα, κάτι που ίσως οφείλεται στο ότι η διαμονή μας έγινε το τελευταίο Σαββατοκύριακο της χειμερινής σεζόν, οπότε ενδεχομένως δεν ήταν όλα απόλυτα οργανωμένα. Πάντως με χαρά θα το ξαναπροτιμούσαμε!

Best value for money accommodation!!

Επισκέφθηκαμε με τον σύζυγο μου τον ξενώνα ταρσουνα ως ένα mini trip στο καιμακτσαλαν. Η κυρια Ελένη ήταν φιλική, εξυπηρετική και μας έκανε να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο ρομαντικό και πολύ ζεστό. Το πρωινό υπέροχο που πληροί τις προϋποθέσεις του covid. Το κατάλυμα παρέχει Πάρκιν και βρίσκεται στο κεντρικότερο σημείο του χωριού. Περασαμε υπέροχα το έχω ήδη συστήσει σε γνωστούς!! Ευχαριστούμε πολυυυυ ❤️
