Mar-Bella
We’re having the best time at the Mar-Bella Hotel! ☀️ The rooms are amazing, the staff are absolutely brilliant, and the activities have been even better!
The à la carte meals have been delicious, too. Honestly, I don’t know what more I could say — we’re simply having the most wonderful time, and we’re still enjoying every minute of it!
A special mention to Iris from the entertainment team, who has been particularly attentive and lovely. She really has gone above and beyond!
We will definitely be back! ☀️

Fantastic animation team!
We have just got home after a fantastic holiday!
From start to finish our time at Marbella was special.
Everyone we met went above and beyond.
Eleni at the pool bar was friendly and very helpful.
Special thanks goes to the Animation Team- this team without a doubt made our holiday fun. Our daughter was made to feel so welcome and included. We looked forward each day to aqua gym and aqua dance followed by a little boogy at the kids disco. All members of the animation team were lovely and such fun to be around, nothing was too much trouble.
We had a very sad little girl when we had to say goodbye but we will definitely be going back! Bigs thanks to Bara and Vinci who took our daughter under their wing!

A Wonderful Holiday for Kids, but Misses the True 5-Star Luxury Mark
While this may go against the consensus of other reviews, for me, this hotel falls short of a genuine 5-star experience.
The Positives: If you are traveling with children, this resort is wonderful. The aqua park, kids’ club, and animation team are brilliant. From the mini disco and face painting to the sheer variety of activities, the entertainment is fantastic. The staff work incredibly hard to keep up with the All inclusive demands.
The Negatives: The resort leans heavily into a bustling "family hotel" vibe, which means it completely lacks the calm, slow-paced tranquility you would typically expect from a premium 5-star property.
* Pools & Sunbed Policy: The main pool area is cramped, with loungers packed tightly together, and finding adequate shade under the small parasols is a real struggle. The pools are also quite deep for smaller children, leading to heavy congestion on the steps and a high volume of inflatables in the pool. Most frustrating is the excessively rigid sunbed policy. While I understand the need to prevent "bed hogging," Towels aren't available until 9:30 AM, and if you leave your bed for more than 30 minutes, your belongings are removed. This makes it impossible to join in anything like the gym sessions or even grab lunch without fear of losing your spot.
* Dining: The main buffet feels chaotic, characterized by long queues and a hectic atmosphere, kids everywhere! The à la carte restaurants are marginally better but feel like a conveyor belt—starters arrive within five minutes, and mains are dropped the second your starter plate is cleared. There’s no “service” no one pouring your wine, food goes cold whilst awaiting the condiments etc. At breakfast, you have to chase the staff down just to get a coffee!
* Housekeeping & Cleanliness: the aqua park area isn’t cleared frequently enough, leaving previous guests' towels, cups, and rubbish lingering for long periods. Inside our room, the open-plan bathroom layout felt awkward and small (as other reviews have noted), and housekeeping for our room was poor. Drinking water wasn't replenished unless requested, we repeatedly received the wrong number of towels, one day none! calling reception every night was getting tedious, there was no evening turndown service (PJs were just left discarded on the side rather than folded). Most concerning was when we accidentally broke a wine bottle; the cleanup was rushed, and glass was left on the floor despite multiple requests for it to be properly vacuumed and mopped.
The Verdict: Ultimately, the kids had a fantastic trip because they are so well catered for. However, if you are looking for a tranquil, personal, and highly attentive luxury all-inclusive experience, this drastically misses the mark. It’s a 4*. We will be sticking to Ikos and Sani in the future.

Back again! And even better…
We’ve now lost count of the number of times we’ve been to Marbella Corfu (at least 10!) and every time I write a review about how amazing it is… somehow it seems to get better every time, so this year I’ll focus on what’s new, beyond the amazing views, facilities, food and relaxation.
One of the best things about this hotel is how clear it is that they listen to feedback. Each year they seem to try new things, get feedback, and make it even better for next year. A key example of this is the new lunch & dinner menu in The Deck (amazing meze lunch vs last year’s canteen offering, and authentic Greek dinner vs last year’s fish-only menu), and the new à la carte lunch in Kuzina vs last years buffet. I didn’t think it was possible for the food here to get better, but somehow it has.
Then of course it’s always the staff that make this hotel. Having come for so long we feel like part of the family, and sometimes plan our day around making sure we see all the staff we want to see. We always have to give a shout-out to Konstantina in Kuzina, Senaida (not sure on spelling!) in The Deck, and Theodora on Guest Relations, all of whom make our visit so special. And of course Alexandros and his team who make me feel so safe with my allergy and are the key reason we keep coming back.
Another great change this year is the Dine Around, where you can try the restaurants in the other hotels in the collection. This gives a great balance - enjoy the family friendly nature of Marbella, but then take a more ‘fancy’ dinner in Nido, or a change of scenery in Avali.
I also love the introduction of the WhatsApp feature and QR-code bar ordering, making it so easy to get quick answers, support, and drinks (!) enabling even more relaxation as you don’t need to find / wait for staff.
The *only* thing this hotel could improve on is the WiFi… I imagine it’s very difficult to cover such a large place with high speed connection, but at times this was just a bit annoying more than anything else.
And to all the people moaning about kids… it’s a family friendly hotel. If you don’t want kids, go to Nido. Marbella truly feels like a happy family, and it should stay this way.

Best holiday
Absolutely fantastic time! The animation team in particular were so entertaining and took our 7yo daughter under their wing who loved it! Loads of activities like aqua gym and aqua dance! Food brilliant, everywhere spotless! The best holiday
