Spacious, clean well equipped with outstanding views
The Superior Studio was clean, comfortable,spacious and well equipped with outstanding panoramic views from the furnished balcony. The property is located above the boat yard which, although could be a little noisy at times (daytime only), provided much entertainment, as did the arrival and departure of boats and ferries throughout the day. We also preferred being a short 5 - 10 minute walk from the main tourist area and harbour where boats dock. Due to bad weather in other parts of Greece our arrival was delayed by a day. The owner did not charge us for this and also allowed us a late check out without additional fee. We also were not charged for a few breakages we were unfortunately responsible for during our stay. We were made to feel very welcome, would definatwly stay again and recommend the property.

Fab location, clean, quite and lovely little house with terrace
We wanted to be near Nos beach as it's a long walk from the other side of the harbour and we also wanted somewhere quiet so these studios were the perfect choice. We were on the lowest studio, which was ideal as the steps are quite steep and I don't have the best balance and we were delighted when we saw it. It was more like a little open plan house with a double sleeping area to one side of the bathroom and then a lounge area with sofa and chairs in front of a fireplace and an alcove up a step with a single bed and wardrobe and chest of drawers. The kitchen was a seperate room of the terrace but there was a window from the other bedroom area, which my daughter loved climbing through. It's typical of the quirky layout of Symi properties, that are subject to planning restrictions as a lot of the buildings are protected. The kitchen was larger than most and good to cook in which we liked. There was also a sandwich toaster, which we loved. The house was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning worked beautifully.. The cleaning services was first class through our 4 night stay. We were met at the port by Andreas and he took our luggage to the apartment and also brought it back when we left, which was incredibly helpful. Marina the owner was fabulous and we also spent a lot of time in her lovely cafe "Catherinettes" just along from the clock tower. I left our passports in the apartment and she managed to get them to another island for us to collect. Service above and beyond the call of duty. We will definitely be staying there again on our next visit to Symi. Can't recommend it enough.

Great owner, great view
At first, very important for us: Clean house with a great view! Yes this is not a room, this a big house with lovely terasse. We stayed here first 3 night of our Symi vacatation and everthing was ok. Specialy we are very very happy to recognıze owner Julia. She is very hepfull and friendly.
The only think that I have to think before giving advice about the appartement is the stairs. There is really many stairs. (There is stairs everywhere in Symi, but here a little more.) But I have to tell at the end, there is a lovely house who wil give you lovely memory. (and very good for the value)

Spacious, clean apartment with great views in a lovely quiet part of town
There are several apartments owned by this lovely family and we stayed for 5 days (will be longer next time!) in a lovely roomy one- bedroom apartment at the top, obviously this means a lot of quite steep stairs to go up (149!)so you need to be able to manage these, but you get a lot of space,privacy and a great view. The balcony gets the sun from early morning until evening, so is a beautiful place to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment was cleaned everyday and has air conditioning included for hot nights. We appreciated little touches like having a bottle of water and tea/coffee making things on arrival in the room and handsoap/ washing up liquid provided. The location of the apartment is fantastic and the best part to stay in (in our opinion!)-in a quiet area just round the corner from the main very busy part of the harbour so avoids all the tourist traffic and a five minute walk from the local beach with lovely restaurants very close by. I would definitely stay in these apartments again, perhaps trying one a bit lower down as I am a bit of a wuss with heights, though it doesn't bother the locals who were skipping up and down like mountain goats while I found myself clambering down the stairs gingerly while clutching onto the wall, though as i say, I am a wuss. Julie kindly allowed us to stay a few hours beyond our checkout time which made a difference to our last day and was much appreciated. Symi is beautiful and these apartments are just lovely. For info we visited in the last week of may, weather was not too hot ( hot enough for us) and we are a couple in our early 50's who are fit and healthy.
On another note, there are many cats in Symi who are semi-wild and are mostly adopted and very well looked after by the local community. However there is a not-so- lucky group who live out of the skip by the car park behind the footbridge in the middle of town. If you are going to Symi and could find the time to visit them and give them some fresh water and food ( and maybe flea treatments!) they would be very grateful. :)

Very clean and well equipped studio,(with the best quality white bathroom towels ever!)
Days on the local beaches
