Still just as good!
After three previous stays, we have once again returned with great pleasure to this small hotel that we particularly enjoy.
And once again, no disappointment: the warm welcome, impeccable rooms, contemporary and neat decoration, and this view of the port of Sfakia, the sea, and the mountains is simply magnificent.
The infinity pool remains an ideal place to relax and enjoy the panorama. Breakfast is still just as pleasant, with good products.
We also like the location, which makes it easy to reach the village and its tavernas, while enjoying the quiet of the hotel.
Over the course of our stays, we almost feel like we are coming "home" to Sfakia...
For us, the Panorama has become a sure bet in Crete. We will be back,

Terrible Experience and Completely Unhelpful Staff
We had booked and paid for a room with a balcony and a side sea view, but what we actually got was a ground-floor room facing rocks, with a terrace that offered zero privacy. To make things worse, it was a connecting room — separated from the next room only by a thin door that had no sound insulation at all. We could clearly hear our neighbors speaking, and they weren’t even loud.
When we explained the issue to the staff, they were completely unhelpful, unfriendly, and rude. Instead of trying to find a solution or even showing a bit of empathy, they dismissed us and acted like we were the problem. The “emergency” hotline didn’t answer at all until the third call, and even then, nobody offered real help.
We contacted both the hotel and Booking.com multiple times, but nobody took responsibility. In the end, we had to open a chargeback with our bank, which we won — that says everything about how unfairly we were treated.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are so many beautiful hotels in Crete where guests are treated kindly and fairly — this is unfortunately not one of them.

A must during our stays in Crete
Very clean, nice breakfast
Splendid sea views overlooking the harbour and views of the mountains
Infinity pool , very hot
Taverns less than 10 minutes walk
We like Sfakia , possibility to explore the surroundings by boat (Loutro, glyka Nera beach) hiking in the Imbros Gorge We stayed 3 nights We are not bored!

Here we want to go back
Great view and small and cozy. Breakfast on the stunning view terrace every morning. Parking outside. 10 minutes down to the village.
-a bit hard to walk up and down the hill and stairs, especially if you have bad condition and problems with joints in your feet and knees.
But it was worth it anyway.
