Villa Eleftheria well worth a visit

Good location 2 to 300 m to the beach.6 miles to bus stop family run apartments, clean tidy and comfortable Air Conditionwd. Great people very friendly helpful and nice pool plus pool bar and snacks great breakfast inc.

Marvelous in May

This is a fairly small family run hotel ideally set a little way back from the beach and restaurants. We are here the 2nd week in May so it is very quiet so can’t say what it might be like in August! The hotel, grounds and pool are immaculately clean and rooms are cleaned quickly although I do think a’do not disturb’ sign should be provided. The rooms have all you need including a very handy fridge, kettle and a 2 ring cooker. Tea etc is not provided but a very small supermarket is just up the road so we stocked up on water, ice cream , beers and snacks etc Breakfast is quite simple, hot drinks, juice, feta, olives, toast and there is some form of warm food in a heating tray which varies every day. There is usually a couple of savoury or sweet pastries too. The Greek yogurt , honey and fruit is fab.The pool area is very nice with comfortable loungers (some with shade) music plays in the back ground( not too intrusive ) and the bar opens at 10am offering a variety of drinks, snacks and food.There are many restaurants a stones throw away varying in price and quality . If you don’t mind a little stroll to the far end of the beach you will come across Lava which we loved for its simple, authentic food. We hired a car for 2 days €42 and explored the island, luckily there were no cruise ships in as listening to other guest it becomes overwhelmingly crowded. Highly recommend parking up near Akrotiri on the coast road to watch the sunset and then on to cave of Nicklaus for a delicious waterside dinner. A great hotel for a quiet getaway in May but ideally located if you want to explore too.
We had a really great week here.

Average and did not live up to the hype

This was extremely average. The reviews did not align to what we experienced.
Positives would be the location - it’s right on the beach with lots of restaurants nearby. Taste on the beach was great - food delicious and staff welcoming and friendly.
Our room was very basic but had been updated and was spacious. Glad we all had “proper” beds. Not enough storage space though for a family - not the first or last hotel I would say this about! It was clean and relatively comfortable.
However, after reading the trip advisor reviews I expected friendly hosts…Didn’t experience that at all. It almost felt like you were an inconvenience.
Breakfast was poor - very basic and pretty much the same each day.
I would return to Santorini but not this hotel.

Fantastic base for a Santorini visit

This family run hotel is an ideal base to explore Santorini and have access to a great beach with a variety of restaurants. Lovely pool where you can always find a sunbed. Nice little bar that has everything you may need available. Only 50 metres to the sea where there is a huge voice of areas to park yourself. The beach bar owners apply a minimum spend on a sunbed. Normally 20 Euros per person so by the time you have a light lunch and a drink you have a free sunbed with waitress service. We hired a car for 2 days which is enough to cover the whole island as it’s not very big. We did Akrotiri, Fira and Oia as well as many places in between. The best sunset experience was at a restaurant called Sunset View in Akrotiri. Ordered a drink and pizza to watch the sun go down in a comfortable chair. We enjoyed a visit to Pyrgos too. Very nice small inland town.

Villa Eleftheria is a great place to stay in Perivolous

We loved this family run hotel In Perivolus. The family were super helpful, the room (nbr 6) shower, bed, all excellent. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day with fresh towels. A very good breakfast too. Beach, bars and restaurants close by. We have stayed in many hotels on different Greek Islands, Villa Eleftheria is probably the best.
