Fantastic stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Suites Mares Luxury Suites and couldn’t fault it. The location is perfect – up the hills away from the crowds, offering a peaceful retreat. While Imerovigli is bustling with hotels, this place felt incredibly private and serene.
To explore the island and grab some food or drinks, I highly recommend renting a small car. There is only one Lidl is on the island, so it’s handy to have a car. Even though it is located only 10 minutes from the centre of Santorini the taxis are around €20-25 one way so could easily add up and become quite expensive.
Sevie, our host, was fantastic. She was always on hand to help with anything we needed and went above and beyond to organise a special birthday breakfast for me. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was basic but pleasant. We enjoyed Greek yoghurt and honey with orange juice most mornings, adding our own fruit and granola.
Jimmys, a local takeaway shop, served delicious and affordable chicken gyros.

The best Place in Santorini !!

Very disappointing experience. We booked this hotel mainly because of the advertised private heated pool, but it never worked properly during our stay. The pool and outdoor area were dirty, the terrace was damaged, and basic issues were never resolved despite repeated promises that everything would be fixed "tomorrow."
Customer service was even more disappointing than the accommodation itself. Instead of helping, we were made to feel as though we were the problem. After three days we decided to leave early because nothing was being done.
The most shocking part came afterwards. When I informed the hotel that I intended to leave an honest negative review based on my experience, I received threats of legal action for defamation instead of a genuine attempt to resolve the situation. I have retained the email correspondence as evidence.
Luxury is not just beautiful photos—it's also about delivering what you promise and treating guests with respect. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property.

Beautiful but without services

Very beautiful, quiet, and cool location. Not reachable on foot. The service is unfortunately nonexistent. The reception is open for a few hours and if you are left, as happened to us, without coffee pods or without a bath mat, there is no one to turn to.

Greece suite&relax

We stayed in the Grand Suite, fantastic, spacious and very cozy. Excellent private pool, and breakfast service directly in the suite every morning. Riko, person available and always ready to help you for any need.

We stayed in the loft suite and it was one of the best suites i have stayed in the aesthetic was amazing and the outside terrace was massive and i sat out every single day in the pool taking in the views. Would highly recommended to anyone.
