Magnificent place!
A beautiful structure, a small but very nice apartment, well equipped with a beautiful terrace, we had a very good time we felt like at home. The staff very friendly and welcoming, who every day when we went down to the pool brought us a nice aperitif offered by them that is a plate of desserts or a few glasses of wine! Honestly I went to other countries on holiday but never been served as by Ambeli Apartaments. The pool is very clean with comfortable sunbeds, very quiet and relaxing! The property is close to the beach for those who like the sea so much!!! We rented a car being for the first time on holiday in Santorini , but for those who like adventure and want to visit a bit 'the island there is also the bus from 20 to 20 minutes.

The hospitality here is outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the ladies on reception could not have been more welcoming and they create such a relaxing and friendly environment, it feels as if you are staying at a friend's place. There are only a small number of apartments so the atmosphere is friendly and laid back. Breakfast is outstanding, so much choice and so fresh, including all the handmade freshly baked cakes and savouries every day. Our room was cleaned everyday and was absolutely spotless, as were the surroundings of the hotel and the pool was pristine. Very close to the beach and some amazing restaurants and bars. Very happy we chose to stay in this part of the island - it's cheaper, prettier (in my opinion!), less touristy and a great base to discover the nearby amazing beaches. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to return to Santorini

Exceptional! If you are traveling to Santorini, this is the place!

There are beautiful accommodations... and then there is Ambeli, where you breathe care, pampering and lots of love in every corner. We stayed here for seven days and from the first moment we felt we were in a special place. We arrived at night from Barcelona and Sofia welcomed us with a delicious cake and a glass of wine, and with all the time in the world to explain with a map the best corners of Santorini: what to visit, what to avoid, which beaches were the most authentic... It was a warm and generous welcome that we will not forget. But the nicest thing came later. Our daughter Paula had a fever for two days and Sofia kept an eye on her as if she were her own daughter: she came several times to see how she was doing, offered us broth, brought us natural remedies and an orange cake made by her. During the week, she surprised us with several homemade cakes, all made with affection and a smile she embraced. And as if that weren’t enough, he gave us handmade necklaces and bracelets with stones for peace, energy and stability. A soul-to-soul gesture. Every morning, when we went to breakfast, Mary welcomed us. Sweet, attentive, always smiling, pending that nothing was missing in the breakfast buffet (which, by the way, was very good). With his tenderness, he said good morning to us as if we were from home. Wonderful person. And Paulina, the housekeeper, greeted us every day with her friendly “service?”, always ready to make the room at the most comfortable time for us, with a friendly, smiling and charming attitude. And all this, in a beautiful setting: the apartment is super clean, well equipped, with a very cool pool and jacuzzi, and rooms that face directly to the pool (very comfortable to go in and out of the water). Breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed on the private terrace, with peace and pleasant views. The location is ideal, very close to the airport and well connected to everything. Communication with the team is very fast, by WhatsApp or in person. But beyond the practical, what has reached us most is this: the humane treatment, the warmth, the love with which they do absolutely everything. Sofia walks by your terrace and asks how you are. Play with the kids in the pool. He's watching you without weighing down. And whatever you ask for, you'll have it. And you'll have it fast, and lovingly. And if you’re thinking of traveling to Santorini, I’m just telling you one thing: Ambeli is much better than any superior 5-star hotel. Here they will take care of you in a way that is not paid for with money, with a love, dedication and attention that far exceeds any luxury place. I would recommend it once and a thousand times to my friends, my family, anyone who asks me. And if anyone has any doubts about where to stay in Santorini... don't hesitate: this is the best place. Not only do we leave in love with Santorini, but also with these apartments. And whenever we come back, it will be our place to stay. We leave deeply grateful. Amazing experience
Well, where do I start.
We stayed at Ambeli Apartments for 3 nights on a short trip to Santorini. We were met by Maria- Flora who couldn't have been more welcoming. I have been in contact with the Apartments via booking.com and WhatsApp where we they answered any questions I had. Maria made us freshly squeezed orange juice and offered dus time to relax before starting the checking in process.
Maria has good knowledge of Santorini and was able to provide us with recommendations of places to visit and trips to go on.
The room was small busy cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Housekeeping attended everyday providing us with new towels and Maria had even popped in some beach towels just incase we forgot ours. It really is these little touches that make the difference.
We had breakfast each morning wich was including in our VERY reasonable price and this consisted of a small hot and cold buffet, bacon, eggs and sausage, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, salad and cheese. Tea, coffee, juice and water was also available. A lovely welcome from Maria in the mornings with the offer of taking our plates and getting us any additional food.
The pool was lovely and clean, cold but not unbearable and there were plenty of sun beds with shade and in the sun. It really is a small piece of paradise, especially for a couple.
We also met Sofia, who arrived in the evenings when Maria would leave. What a kind hearted lady she is. Myself and my partner where relaxing in the hot tub and Sofia brought us two glasses of wine, some crisps and nuts and a small gesture to enjoy. I've never been anywhere like this. We had wine left.ourside our room, cakes made by Sofia and brought to us and Maria even gave us drinks on our last day to enjoy by the pool. These ladies really are a credit to Ambeli and if you are reading this and thinking about booking, you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to come back.

Absolutely brilliant service
We arrived in late evening and were greeted with wine, homemade cake and smiles.
The service from the whole team was just perfect. Room cleaned every day. Great breakfast and very good value. Its close to the beach with a good selection of bars and restaurants but far enough away to be peaceful if that's your choice.
Highly recommended.
