Helena hotel

We had an amazing 12-day stay at Helena Hotel in Rhodes with my wife, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
From the moment we arrived, the owner gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel at home. The entire staff was friendly and always ready to help.
Our room was cleaned every single day by a lovely housekeeper, who I believe was from Ukraine. She did an outstanding job, and we truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism.
A big thank you as well to Mohamed, who is there during the day. Whatever we needed, he was always happy to help with a smile.
In the evening, a very special mention goes to Mustafa and Spartacus. They were absolutely fantastic, always welcoming, funny, and attentive. They made our stay even more enjoyable, and my daughter absolutely loved them too. They really know how to make guests feel like family.
The only small downsides were that we didn’t get to enjoy the swimming pool because it was always full, and breakfast finished a bit too early for us. However, these are only minor points compared to the overall experience.
Thank you to the entire Helena Hotel team for making our holiday so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to come back on our next visit to Rhodes!

Don’t listen to the bad reviews!!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 1 week and we are VERY happy with this hotel!! We read the reviews beforehand and were a bit nervous. Safe to say, we cannot grasp how anyone had a bad review for this hotel! The staff was very nice, the room was cleaned EVERY DAY by a very nice cleaning lady (I think her name is natascha?) with newly washed towels. The breakfast was very nice as well. And the staff were very helpful with getting taxis, overall help and any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be coming back to Hotel Helena! Greetings from M & P :D

Good location, quiet and nice. Okay breakfast but disaster in terms of cleaning!

Housekeeping was not available! Toilet was cleaned the first day and the bed was fixed. After that nothing except emptying trash cans. Big dust rats on the whole balcony

Luckily I left last minute and didn't pay full price!

Better than expected in terms of noise level as it is centrally located and not far from the “bar street”. Close to restaurants and not too far to walk to the various beaches or to the Old Town.
Did not have breakfast so I can not say anything about it.
What is really bad is that the bedding and blankets do not feel clean when you arrive. Sheets and towels feel like they are washed at low temperature, not good. The cleaning beneath contempt.
Emptying the trash cans and straightening the sheets is all they did.

Good location, bad service. Not worth 3 stars

The hotel has a very good location near the beach and downtown, which is the biggest plus. Unfortunately, there were several things that slowed down the experience. Wi-Fi did not work in the first room got a new one after contacting the wing before it said no to new room in the new room it was black mold in the refrigerator. We pointed this out and were told that it would be replaced after contacting the wing otherwise they did not care, but it seemed to have just been cleaned and there was still black mold left. The reception staff was perceived as unpleasant and not very helpful, while the night staff were much nicer and gave a much better reception. Overall, the hotel did not live up to our expectations. The location is excellent, but the service and standard mean that I would give the hotel 1 out of 5 stars.
