Comfortable luxury.
What an unexpected and completely elevated experience at the W! Top tier customer support from all areas of hospitality. Room janitorial services were prompt and expedient. We were never interrupted yet. Our room was always made up in many cases multiple times a day. The food and beverage experience offered vast choices, especially in the included breakfast buffet. Beyond the accommodations, the staff is what made my experience the most memorable.
Having visited adjacent properties, including those within the Marriott portfolio, I found the W’s access accessibility within the resort to the beach to be the most convenient.
There have been many standout interactions with staff beyond the names mentioned below: Effie, Zoe and Maria at breakfast, Ermol at the poolside, George at the evening lounge, and Avangelo F&B Director. Dyonesia at the Whatever Whenever team made sure we stayed busy locally.

Highly recommend a vacation at the W
Loved our visit at the W at Costa Navarino. Nice contemporary architecture and decor. The meal we had at Parelia restaurant was amazing. We had met the GM of the W and he arranged for a special meal that included fresh fish caught that day. Maybe the best fish we’ve ever eaten. The filoxenia shown by the GM and the staff made our trip a memorable one. We would highly recommend a vacation at the W. If you meet eh GM Konstantinos, know that you are in good hands.

This is truly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve travelled staying in 5 stars a lot. Even better than Ikos hotels and that’s saying something.
Stunning resort, beautifully appointed rooms. Fantastic service. Small gifts left every day by room service members, birthday cake and bubbles on my birthday. This list goes on.
You will not be disappointed

Not recommended
Everything fantastic but the restaurant parelia was like a fake. Pasta for two persons with seafood for more than 100€, looks disgusting and tasted - I will say very special. The ohers main dishes and sides were also not really lovley made and good. But the atmosphere was great and the staff was very nice.

The W Experience
I have just returned from my second trip to W Costa Navarino since 2024. Whilst there have been many changes at the resort (both good and bad), it remains a very special place. I've not been asked to write a review but thought it was about time that I did!
Setting aside the beautiful scenery, rooms and facilities (the photos and other reviews speak for themselves - it is all outstanding!), I think what really makes this place special is the staff. I was genuinely touched that several members remembered me from my initial stay but also the smallest of details such as what I drank on the beach back then and past conversations without any prompts. It truly felt like I had never left!
Frequent W Hotel visitors will be aware of the "lounge" concept, the social hub and party place across all venues globally. With all the super cool parties going on at the beach and at the hills, I think it is easy for guests to forget to pop in to the lounge here and live that true W experience but I would actively encourage everyone to do so. You're missing out!
The legendary lounge manager George, sparkling head waitress Rafaela and cocktail genius Stelios are the most wonderful and talented humans you will meet. Their exceptional service, which was consistently delivered with great good humour, meant that I could not stay away!
The breakfast team were also brilliant. Not being a morning person, I felt uplifted by their positive energy each day and the spread on offer was great. On my last day, I was gifted some coffee beans grown on site by the hotel with a covering message that it will help me continue to enjoy my mornings at home, smile and return to the hotel in a short while. Touching words and appreciated!
The hotel's "chef on the beach" experiences at Parelia are brilliant for foodies. Parachuting Michelin Starr chefs in from across the globe to deliver something different in such beautiful surroundings was exceptional. Highly recommended.
In Parelia, I have to call out the restaurant's sommelier George who was outstanding. A charming guy, extremely knowledgable of all things wine and heart warmingly passionate about Greek culture. He is a real asset to the W team!
For those requiring a massage, Pantelis at the Away Spa is your guy! With gym training and work stress, I often get deep tissue massages. Having travelled a lot, this was probably the best treatment I have ever experienced - so much so I had to indulge 3 times! Give Pantelis a shot, you won't regret it!
In terms of the negatives, the resort was much busier than it was on the same dates in 2024 which is clearly a testament to its earlier success. There was however, a dip in the non-food and beverage service arena which may have been because of this.
In 2024, I was treated to an extremely warm welcome by the host team and many in room surprises neither of which happened on this occasion although I understand that it did for others. At the premium, I would have expected consistency for all guests or even an enhancement for those returning. To clarify, this is separate from anything provided by the breakfast team/ lounge which was unexpected and always appreciated.
Food and beverage prices have sky rocketed but I think this is standard in Greece. Whilst I originally agreed with those reviewers that were against the half board option to get a better experience, I would now consider opting for it. You can always take a hit and pay extra if you want to try something else! It was also disappointing to see that some restaurants in the Agora were no longer serving food when back in 2024, they were THE places to go such as Guacana which is now cocktails only.
Finally, other guests. My pet peeve was not being able to get round the pool at all because many marked their territory with a towel/ property very early and vanished until the afternoon. Ultimately I was happy enough to venture to the far end of the resort and find a spot on the beach but noting many groups complaining, this should be better policed. Obviously this is not a problem unique to this hotel.
All in all, the hotel is fantastic and has so much potential to become greater still.
Will I be returning? Absolutely. Do I recommend it? Absolutely.
