Incredible family run hotel apartments! Would go here again and again and again!
Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to Hotel Ariadne, for a truly incredible trip!
Both myself and my partner were adamant following a very busy couple of years that we wanted to be able to go away and just "Chill" and I don't think we could have selected a better hotel for this.
Pam and the whole family who run Ariadne are amazing, their friendly, supportive and can't do enough for their guests!
I've often stated that it is the small things that count to make a holiday stick in your memory and it's that attention to detail that stands out.
I won't give war and peace on this review however I'll summarise each aspect to help people make their desicion.
Location : Beautiful with an incredible view of Tsilivi and the sea beyond. The hill could be difficult for people with mobility issues but other than that it shouldn't present a challenge for most people... Plus there is a colony of lovely cats just by there (Say hello to the friendly black cat with the scraggly tail, he's lovely )
Rooms: We had a studio room on the bottom floor.
Beds- Decent but quite firm.
Kitchen - Microwave, 2 part plug in Stove, Fridge with Freezer Box, Toaster, Kettle and Sink. Overall good quality.
Bathroom - Large Mirror, Bathrub with Shower Curtain ( Water pressure is insanely good )
Pool: Big one! There is no insane early doors stupid rush for sun beds, there are plenty for the amount of rooms.
The pool is the perfect temperature for how hot it is and there is plenty of shaded areas and the pool bar doesn't excellent food up until 4pm. The drinks are cracking as well!
Overall, this is a superb hotel! It's well love and cared for with numerous awards and jerseys with lovely messages from previous guests hanging up!
If you want a truly chilled out holiday in the sun and to relax this is the place to go!
So from me and Shiv, a massive thank you for a very relaxing and much needed holiday!

Ariadne Hotel - Thank you
This is a Greek family run hotel and has a lovely feel to it (daugther in law comes from Limerick in Ireland). The rooms are basic but of a good standard and are clean. Regular changing of towels and bedlinen happen as well. The pool is looked after and cleaned every evening.
The is a nice bar where you can get food and drink during the day. The hotel has 24 rooms and the family live on site so there is always someone around if you need help.
We had a lovely two weeks stay here and as it is away from the main road, it was lovely and peaceful. It is only a 5 minute walk down to the main road but one thing to note, it is a very steep hill so may not be suitable if you struggle to walk. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the warmth of Greece in a family run hotel which gives you a lovely greek welcome.

Great accommodation
Second stay this September...very clean accommodation.....Pamela is friendly and all staff work long hours....snacks on a lunchtime very good.......very spacious 1 bedroomed apartment......hill may be an issue for those with mobility issues....will.not hesitate to stay here again...thanks for another great stay.

Ariadne Hotel, lovely place to stay!
When we arrived we had a lovely greeting. We asked about air con and the lady said its a cool room and we get a lovely breeze up here so try it for a night and if you want air con we can sort that for you, at a very reasonable charge I might add, but she was right and we didn't need it, very kind of her to say considering it's a family run establishment. Unfortunately for us we weren't able to spend as much time here as we would have liked to as we had many of our family dotted around Tsivili for four significant birthdays so we felt obliged to go to them. We did get to spend the last two days here and the pool area is gorgeous, lovely views, such friendly staff and a delightful (very filling) lunch. Everything was kept so clean, not just in our room but everywhere! The only downside I could possibly see for some maybe the bank to walk up after visiting the main strip but we personally really enjoyed our time here.

Lovely relaxing stay
Just home from 11 nights at the Ariadne Hotel. It is small & family run. We had 2 rooms one for me & my husband and 1 for our 3 teenagers. The rooms were next to each other, larger than we had expected with beautiful views & very clean. The balconies felt private & we had no issue with noise. The kitchen area had everything we needed, let's face it we didn't travel to Greece to spend hours in the kitchen (2 ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster). No complaints about the bathroom either, shower over bath, basin unit with large mirror & hairdryer. We paid for air conditioning, but was a bit borderline whether we really needed it or not as the rooms have nice high ceilings & the door to the balcony has an inner French door and an outer netted door which means the room can be left to air with no bugs getting in.
The pool area is well kept & plenty of loungers for everyone (no towel wars). If you ask at the bar they switch the jacuzzi bubbles on. The bar serves basic food (think fresh smoothies, toasties, pizzas, greek salad etc) until 4pm and a wide range of drinks until midnight. Ideal for snacks during the day or a relaxing drink before heading for the evening. The owner Pam is absolutely lovely, so friendly & helpful. Yes it is up a bit of a hill, but honestly if you have a reasonable level of fitness it shouldn't be a problem & 5 mins walk you reach the road with all the bars & shops on it, starting with the wonderful Micro Acropli restaurant on the corner & 2 small supermarkets opposite each other. Plus Claude the cat is a gorgeous boy!! We all had a wonderful holiday at Ariadne. Would happily go back!
