Amazing Experience
The beds were really comfortable, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and the pool area was beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully quiet. We often had the pool area almost entirely to ourselves, which made it feel even more special.
Yes, the steps are steep, but we’re an active family and actually loved the daily fitness challenge!
We absolutely loved Parga, and Gallery Suites was without a doubt the perfect place for us to stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to other families.

So good, I don't actually want you all to find out about it
We stayed as a family of 6 (age range 3 - 69 years) in the Orama apartment, which was spacious, clean and modern but with homely touches and decorations. It was well equipped, with plenty of good quality kitchenware, hair dryer, washing machine, iron and ironing board (if you want those things on holiday) and air con was included. All three bedrooms had plenty of storage including wooden hangers, comfortable beds and linen. To be welcomed with some basics like juice, toast, jams and beer in the fridge is very thoughtful. There was only one bathroom, which could have been a challenge with 6 people but we managed perfectly fine.
Our terrace ran the length of building, meaning we had a sofa arrangement, 6 seater dining set and hanging egg chair. It was a lovely suntrap in the afternoon/evening and was a favourite for the cat (which we nicknamed Claus).
The pool area was clean, with lots of places to relax including sun loungers (there were always some available during our stay), chairs and tables and cool area built into the rock. It also had a shower and useful toilet so you didn't have to go back to the room each time. The grounds were well maintained with flowers and fruit trees.
In particular I'd like to highlight the people running the hotel. Firstly, Achilleas the owner responded so quickly to my emails when we had an issue e.g. the buttons on the hairdryer were broken so he replaced it with a brand new one the next mornjng. When we accidentally tripped the electrics after 11pm one night, I asked if they could help in the morning but his Dad was round within 15mins of my email to reset everything. Also Leonora the cleaner did a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and tidy, always with a smile on her face.
Now let's talk about the hill. Yes there's 109 steps (trust me, my 3 year old wanted to count them everyday). Yes it can be tiring in the midday heat. But they are well marked, well lit with a handrail all the way and it actually improved our fitness over the holiday despite the yummy Greek food and wine we enjoyed. It also meant the apartments are up away from the road so any noise from the road is significantly reduced. During our stay, a footpath was being built on the main road so will make it much safer to get into town in future as you can reach the bottom of the hill and be able to cross straight onto it. From there, it's a short walk to the nearest supermarket (although we preferred the mini market just after the town hall for a better selection of fruit), the bakery and the first few tavernas.
Overall we had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend the Gallery Suites (though not too much as we definitely want to stay again next time we visit Parga!)
Thanks Achilleas and team.

Wonderful stay at Gallery Suites Parga
Our suite was Phos, which overlooked the pool and had three comfortable bedrooms, a living/dining/kitchen area and one shower room. It was all very clean and modern and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The best thing was that, as well as a balcony, we had a private outside roof terrace, which always had shade and sun and was a lovely place to relax before getting ready to go out for dinner.
There are a lot of steps uphill to the building but the quality of the accommodation made the climb worthwhile. It's so attractive and a few minutes walk to the old town and beach. The parking is not for the faint-hearted being up the steep driveway and round a tight turn but it's level with the ground floor apartments, so fine for unloading luggage. There's a supermarket very close by, plus a bakery, and a nice restaurant opposite if you don't want to go far for food. Whenever I phoned with a query, the phone was always answered immediately too.
The only thing I would say is that one toilet/shower room was fine for the two of us but might be something you'd want to think about if there were more of you sharing the apartment. The shower was always lovely and hot though!

Beautiful apartments and fabulous hosts !
We were greeted on arrival by Achilleas the owner and shown to our accommodation, which was the Phos suite……it was just beautiful !
The apartment was situated on the top floor of the building and had 3 bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes and lots of storage space. It had a big balcony on one side with a couple of bean bag loungers and a table and chairs , and a huge terrace on the right side overlooking the pool with a sofa and low table, and a big egg chair to relax in.
Every room was decorated beautifully, modern but cosy and not clinical. Immaculate and cleaned/towels changed regularly. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was a basket with some crisp breads, butter, jam and honey, water and some orange juice in the fridge and a few cans of Mythos. The only thing missing initially was a toaster, there was supposed to be one in the cupboard but wasn’t….but a quick email to Achilleas and his lovely mother brought us one very shortly after. She apologised but it really wasn’t a problem. We were grateful that she brought us one so quickly.
The bathroom was also stunning and had a washing machine in there, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, diffuser, sewing kit, and a cup of detergent for the washing machine. They really had thought of everything with all these little touches and it was clear they had gone out of their way to try to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable upon arrival.
The pool area was also beautiful, very clean, never got too busy, we always found beds when we wanted them.
The ONLY downside is it is located up a steep drive, however there are steps going from the bottom all the way to the top. As long as you are reasonably fit they are both manageable, and tbh you soon get used to it, and it’s well worth the effort for the standard of accommodation and the kindness of the hosts that you are getting. There is parking for guests cars at the top so if you have a car it’s even easier.
We had booked a private transfer from and to the airport, which drove us up to the top to our door upon arrival. But on the day we left they sent a minibus with a longer wheelbase which could not get up the hill without risking damaging the bus. It was a problem as my mother who is 73 and has back problems struggled to walk far and would not have managed to get down the hill.
However Achilleas parents saw that we had a problem and very kindly put mum and as much luggage as they could in their car and drove her down to the transfer bus at the main road. They weren’t obliged to do this, but they didn’t hesitate when they realised the problem.
So to sum it up, we would all highly recommend Gallery Suites. A define 10/10, nothing at all to criticise….the whole site is beautiful, and the hosts equally as gracious. We will most definitely be back to stay there again. Incidentally they also own Achilleas hotel which looks on to Piso Krioneri beach, and Atrium bar which is up the steps to the right on Piso Krioneri, both also well with a visit. Happy holidays

Perfect place to stay in a great location.
We arrived later than expected but were welcomed warmly and taken straight to our apartment.
The apartment in itself was lovely. There are lots of touches to make it feel homely and little extras that you really appreciate after a long journey such as a fridge stocked with cold water, beer and orange juice.
We had the smallest apartment as it was the only one left we booked and whilst it worked for four of us given the choice I would have gone for a bigger one with an extra bedroom.
The hostess is friendly and smiley. She is present but not in anyway intrusive.
We used the pool a lot. It was never too busy and there were plenty of sitting options both in sun and shade.
I would highly recommend these apartments and would happily return again and again!
