Amazing Stay!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Saint Santorini from the moment we arrived. Staff and service was excellent from check in until check out, they do everything they can so you can have an amazing stay. Hotel is very clean, during our stay pretty much everytime we go out we see someone cleaning. The hotel has an absolutely amazing vieq of both the caldera and Oia! We stayed in two room categories and both were spotless and had a great view of the caldera.Aura pool was so relaxed for drinks and afternoon cocktails would highly recommend it. Breakfast served in the room was 10/10 every morning, we had dinner with a view at Trinity Restaurant which was also superb. Hotel is located in the quiet part of Oia away from big groups of tourist, but also at a very close walking distance to all the nice spots. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for something luxury in Oia.

Don’t Be Fooled by the Photos
Extremely disappointing stay – definitely not the luxury experience we expected
We chose Saint Santorini because it advertises itself as a luxury private hotel, but unfortunately our experience was far from luxurious. For the price we paid, this was one of the most disappointing hotels we have stayed at.
From the moment we checked in, the service felt incomplete. The reception staff did not provide proper information about the hotel, its facilities, or the services available. We were left to figure out many things ourselves.
One of the first things that surprised us was when we ordered food to our room terrace. The staff simply brought the plates and left. There was no table setting, no cutlery arrangement, and no attempt to prepare the dining experience. When I asked if they could set the table, I was told, “We only do that in the restaurant.” For a hotel positioning itself as luxury, this level of service was very disappointing.
We also informed the staff about our dietary preferences. Before ordering, we specifically asked whether one of the salads was halal, and we were assured that it was. However, when the dish arrived, it contained bacon. Thankfully we noticed it before eating it. When we pointed it out, the staff simply replied, “It’s bacon.” This should never happen after specifically asking about dietary requirements.
Housekeeping was another major disappointment. Our room was often not cleaned on time, and on more than one occasion housekeeping entered the room without properly knocking or waiting for permission. Privacy should be respected in any hotel, especially one claiming to be luxury.
Although the hotel promotes itself online as a “private luxury hotel,” it did not feel private at all. Our room had no proper privacy, and people could easily see into parts of the outdoor area.
When we first arrived, we requested a room change because we were unhappy with our room. We were initially told that the hotel was completely full and no rooms were available. However, after speaking with another receptionist later, we were suddenly offered another room. This inconsistency was confusing.
The replacement room had a beautiful caldera view, but the room itself was old and poorly maintained. The white walls and finishes showed visible wear and stains, and the bathroom lacked even basic luxury amenities such as a toothbrush kit, shaving kit, cotton pads, cotton buds, and other toiletries that are commonly provided even by many 3-star hotels.
The hair dryer was another unpleasant surprise. It became extremely hot, produced a burning smell, and was uncomfortable to use. The bathrobes and bed linens also looked old, heavily worn, and some were visibly damaged.
Breakfast was below expectations. The bread did not taste fresh, the coffee was cold, and several dishes lacked flavor. The avocado toast, in particular, was disappointing.
We were also surprised that food from the sushi bar could not be taken to our room. I even offered to carry it myself, but the staff refused. The only option was to dine at the sushi bar, where the music was excessively loud and uncomfortable. This policy felt unnecessarily restrictive and did not match the level of flexibility expected from a luxury hotel.
The private plunge pool looked dirty, and the water temperature was extremely warm despite the hot weather, making it uncomfortable to use. The sunbeds were also covered in dust. After lying on one for a short time, my black clothing became covered with white dust.
Another issue was the pricing. The hotel already charges premium rates, yet additional percentages were added to restaurant bills for food and drinks. We had also booked believing all taxes were included, but we were later asked to pay additional charges during our stay, which was unexpected.
I also requested a paid late check-out and was told it was impossible because another guest was arriving immediately. I accepted the decision and spent several hours in the spa instead. However, around 3:30 PM I noticed that our room was still vacant, making the explanation difficult to understand.
The only true highlight of our stay was the spa. The therapist who performed the 85-minute Deep Tissue Massage was outstanding. It was one of the best massages I have ever had, and absolutely worth every euro.
The caldera views are beautiful, but beautiful scenery alone cannot compensate for inconsistent service, poor maintenance, lack of privacy, and a hotel experience that simply does not match its luxury positioning. Unfortunately, I would not return.

Views, Vibes, and Unforgettable Nights
Our stay at Saint Santorini was absolutely incredible. The views were breathtaking, easily some of the best we have seen. The staff and service were excellent from check in to check out, attentive without ever being overbearing. The one small downside was spotty cell service during our stay, but it honestly gave us a great excuse to unplug and enjoy the island. The food was superb across the board. The rooftop restaurant deserves a special mention, incredible vibe with house music playing as the sun set over the caldera. It made for one of the most memorable dining experiences of the trip.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini. We will absolutely be back.

An Unforgettable Santorini Experience
I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Saint Santorini. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the entire experience seamless and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel in Oia, Santorini
The Saint Hotel in Oia is the ultimate Santorini escape. It effortlessly blends luxurious, cliffside elegance with romantic charm and flawless service. With its panoramic caldera views and intimate vibe, it delivers an unforgettable experience that perfectly captures the magic of the Aegean. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The hotel also had private yacht and private car services which was very convenient for their guests. Truly a 5 star hotel. Pretty and Matina and all the staffs were wonderful.
