Top location outside the port of Igoumenitsa. Kindness and excellent hospitality; they prepared a very good breakfast for us, rooms, bathrooms, linens, everything was okay.

these apartments are fantastic! owners extremely available! simple but well-kept and spotless! the apartments are spacious and spacious! I stop every time I come to Igumenizza and I never disappoint!! strategic location x who must board!

Lovely hotel close to the ferries to Italy

A few kilometers from the center of Igoumenitsa, this lovely hotel is just 200 meters from the terminal for the Italian ferries.
Spacious, clean rooms, good showers, reliable Wi-Fi, and parking available. They serve a welcome drink upon arrival, and there’s a small gift when you check out. And on top of that, the room rates are very reasonable.
Breakfast costs 7 Euros and mainly consists of homemade sweet pastries.
The downside is the hotel dog, which barks during the night (woke us up twice), and the nearby church on Sunday morning (persistent bell ringing).

Genuinely lovely owners and hotel premise

What a wonderful tucked away, yet close to centre, hotel. The rooms are super clean, large with your own patio to enjoy, very comfortable bed and pillows with a refrigerator. The breakfast for $5eu I strongly suggest you order; you may enjoy on your patio, their indoor patio or garden area. Omelette, great coffee, bakery items made by the owner as well as the marmelade, yogurt and honey are offered and have juices as well as alcoholic beverages. The shower has plenty of hot water and towels are large. The staff have great command of the English language should you need that. Upon checkout they will drive you to the bus station or ferry port. The reasonable cost per night added with all of the amenities offered should make this your wise choice

Great People, Great Location

Igoumenitsa itself is a typical port; full of birds of passage needing temporary roosts for tired wings, and some of those birds look like very dirty birds indeed. Zigos is almost directly opposite the new international port, and is full of comings and goings at all hours; the proprietors, Giorgos & his father, Christos couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating - Giorgos happily dropped us at the terminal for Corfu, and offered to pick us up on return. There is a nice little bar/terrace in the rear overlooking a charming garden, where Giorgos made the best coffee to be had anywhere in Greece. The accomodation itself is basic, but clean and tidy; having knocked around Igoumenitsa for a couple of days I’d definitely recommend Zigos.
