Peaceful and relaxing, this is it.
Absolutely lovely, very relaxing stay, I was a bit anxious after reading some negative reviews on the way from the cruise ship regards the food, cleanliness, rooms etc so I wanted to write a honest review, firstly it's probably the cleanest most well kept hotel I've stayed in on Corfu. Food..wow there is a huge choice, evenings whole salmon, a sucking pig and legs of lamb..all the other foods are changed regularly, rooms are large, spotless and cleaned every day, the grounds are well maintained and staff friendly. Only down side if you could call it that is a bit quiet on an evening as some nights there is no entertainment on at all. Honestly go there, you'll love it.

Beautiful hotel, Beautiful staff.

Feel a little duped by #Jet2 for this as the brochure photos haven't been updated, I thought i had booked one of the private pool rooms (suites 1 to 5) these rooms have a far superior position pretty much for all aspects, sun coverage, close to restaurant and view etc also have access around the pool from the patio area.
What we got (and don't get me wrong) was a very beautiful room but furthest away from everything (haven't even been built in the brochure photos), my wife who has issues climbing hills/stairs found this difficult getting to and from the main restaurant so I advise you to consider this when booking.
Our room 804 looked directly out to sea with Albania in the distance which looked spectacular, large patio area only accessible from the room with a lovely warm private pool, the downside to this was the position, the patio got partial sun first thing in the morning then it disappears behind the rooftop leaving only the pool with sun, not ideal if you are a sun worshipper, you do have a pebble beach right in front of the room and a couple of sandy coves with loungers 30mtrs left or right of this, never had issues with lounger availability but its slightly out of peak season.
There are a few moaners in previous reviews about the food, we found the food and choices to be excellent, cooked to a high standard every time, wasn't loads of choices but never struggled to find something delicious every time, the gyros and salad pots at the pool bar were amazing.
The staff, each and everyone we met were super friendly and an absolute credit to the hotel.
The hotel itself is rather isolated, a good 40min walk to pretty Roda town, the hotel offer a shuttle bus every hour that carries 8 people and takes around 10mins which is a great service.
All in all, a fantastic hotel with amazing staff, more suited to couples and young families looking for a quiet chilled holiday.

Lovely Stay, Second year here
Had such a lovely time, weather, swim up room, staff, location and sunsets all perfect! Food lovely and drinks plenty of choice ! We came last year and returned this year and planning next year’s visit already. Don’t understand the negative reviews. Staff very friendly and couldn’t fault anything.

Fantastic
We stayed in two swim up rooms. From start to finish the staff have looked after us and been so kind and helpful. Our son has severe autism and he has been made so welcome, together with his food allergies we are not the easiest guests! The hotel have made our holiday such a lovely memorable experience. Beautiful views, sea is lovely and warm - but bring beach shoes as the shore is quite pebbly but once you’re in its beautifully sandy and shallow. Food is not 5 star but there is a great variety and it was tasty with healthy options too. We felt the all inclusive package was good value, definitely book the free taverna night. Thank you Hotel Ibiscus!

Brilliant week at Ibiscus
Back for a couple of weeks now and still thinking about how enjoyable our stay was.
Firstly, the setting - if you are looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting then this hotel is ideal. The scenery is something else and the hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
It is a fair bit away from the airport and our (bus) transfer took about 90 minutes. Worth making sure you have some water but if you’re happy watching the scenery (I am) then the journey is fine!
The food was good - warm, fresh and varied. The AI drinks are probably better than I’ve had elsewhere - both in terms of quality and range, but are ‘local spirits’, so don’t expect premium. The beer is ‘Corfu Beer’ which was pretty good.
The pool area was great though we also had a swim up room so always had a couple of options for a change of scenery. No sunbed wars either which was very welcomed
Worth noting the snack bar at the pool - pizza, burgers, gyros etc available through the day but also things like fresh pancakes in the late afternoon.
The beach is within metres of the hotel was a real bonus. On previous holidays, a trip to the beach has meant a day out, so it was brilliant to just be able to wander down. Even swam in the sea one evening as the sun was setting which was a great experience
The rooms were pleasant. We had air con and also a dehumidifier in the room which kept us cool.
Nearby, Rhoda is worth a trip on the free, hourly minibus (only takes 5 minutes). We also hired a car from the company in the hotel for a couple of days and explored a little bit further away.
Don’t expect a massive amount of evening entertainment - there were a few things in the bar, but we weren’t there for that. Playing cards outdoors watching the sunset seemed like a better use of our limited time here!
The staff are great and will help you with anything. I also found the other visitors to all be polite and friendly
We don’t usually go back to places we visit, but are seriously reconsidering that after such a great stay. I can’t really find any faults with our week here
