Felt the fear and did it anyway
I stayed here for three nights and after reading the reviews I was dreading it but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised.
I did ask for an early check in but this option was unavailable but I could bring my bags and leave them in reception.
From Corfu town you can get the 4 or 7 bus and get off the stop just after Lidl. It costs €1.30 if you have a ticket and €2 if you pay by card or cash on the bus.
The Lidl is very close by and so are the local bus stops. You can also get the A9 to a fab beach which costs €5.60 return.
There are also two coffee shops close by one on the way to Lidl to the right and cafe Nadal just to the left.
The hostel was clean, tidy and the dorm was huge. There were 10 beds and everyone had a locker with a key provided by the hostel. Then a lounge with a sofa and a bathroom with three showers and three toilets. The only thing I would recommend is an eye mask as the curtains did not fit the window correctly and light was coming in. There was air conditioning in the room too.
The kitchen was well equipped with all mod cons- microwave, kettle, sandwich toaster, coffee machine and two big fridges. There was not a lot of work top space for preparing food but there were three large tables you could use. There was a seat area inside and outside.
The staff were very helpful and kind, I met three people working at reception.
I got the bus to the nearest stop at the Potomus Bridge and it's a 17 minute walk, so maybe state you are walking and not driving when you ask for directions.
The location is not in Corfu central but buses pass on a regular basis, the supermarket is close and there is a beach near by.

I left my booking to the last minute so for the price, it ticked the box. The smell of the room, fear of bed bugs and noise were less desirable but manageable for one night.

We Stayed in room 1 and the left side of the bed was broken you could feel the springs in the mattress sticking out.
There was an emergency light in the room that could not be switched off. We had to ask for it to bed turned off.
The remote for the tv was not working and they did not have a spare.
Also we could hear everything going on outside the room, that was across from the reception.

No info that my Bunk bed was Upper cannot enjoy , bladder issues twice nightly totally normal days my doctor prior to leave Florida

Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs!
This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. We walked into what was supposed to be our “room” only to find it completely untouched and filthy. The bed looked like someone had just rolled out of it — sheets crumpled, stained, and reeking of sweat. The bathroom was even worse: the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long, the sink was grimy, and the whole place stank like a mix of sewage, sweat, and damp mould. It was so unbearable we could barely breathe.
To make matters worse, the receptionist was shockingly rude. Full of attitude, rolling her eyes, snapping at us, and acting aggressively instead of apologising. There was zero kindness, zero professionalism.
When we asked for a refund (which anyone would expect after being given such a disgusting room), they flat-out refused, even though it was 100% their responsibility to provide a clean space. Luckily, we took pictures to prove how unacceptable it was.
This place is beyond unacceptable — dirty, smelly, unprofessional, and a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere else but here!
