A lovely hotel, a little far out.

We spent 2 weeks at the Ampelia Hotel.
PLUS POINTS
Beautiful pool area with a choice of sun and shade relaxation areas and some sunbeds (6).
Children’s pool
Good snack menu at the bar, which is lovely, cool and comfortable.
Breakfast is fabulous! Cereals, bread, jams, amazing yogurt, honey, 2 kinds of melon, bacon, eggs, sausage, Lovely orange juice. This is not a complete list.
Nikos, his wife Alina and Anna on Reception are very helpful also the bar staff.
The rooms are clean and have all you need. Bedding and towels are changed regularly and often.
Nikos has plans to renovate the rooms so I think next year they will be even better.
Taxis can be booked at Reception. Anna is very helpful.
MINUS POINTS
The bar closes at 10pm. We were disappointed as we like to have a drink (or soft drink) and play cards or read after dinner, before going up to bed.
There is a 800 metre walk to the town and a little further to the beach. Taxis are situated across from Dramis Bakery and it’s 5 euros to Ampelia.
There are quite a few steps on the property. Into and out of the bar, around the pool, to get to reception whichever way you go and up to the rooms. Not suitable for physically disabled, wheelchairs, respiratory or heart problems.

Relaxing, quiet and clean hotel with pool/bar area

Very clean hotel. Basic facilities reflective of 3 star accommodation but I personally prefer this. Nice staff. The pool area is very comfortable with loungers and the hotel pool bar is very well stocked for snacks and refreshments. Breakfast served at the hotel gives plenty of choice, and is well thought out. The hotel is in a quiet rural location but about 10 minutes walk to local centre with bars and restaurants. Beach about 15 minutes away walking. Great for couples or families wanting a relaxing holiday. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great Holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Ampelia Hotel! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and peaceful, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and always ready to help. The location was great and everything was well maintained.
We really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend Ampelia Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday! ❤️

Amazing hotel.

Ampelia is perfectly located just outside the town. This gives a quiet relaxed feel, but you are only a 10min walk to the nightlife and beach. The staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are a good size , clean with good aircon and WiFi. The pool area is beautiful with relaxing music playing throughout the day. The food is extremely nice , we were half board and the evening meal was fresh and something different each night. The beach is very busy but we hired a car from Hanoiti cars and explored the area . The most beautiful beach we found was Sani beach next to Sani resort. There’s free parking next to the private car park. W3w for parking ///holdings.radiators.armfuls. I would really recommend hiring the car as there’s so many nice places to visit all within 40mins . Again I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel and the staff, real value for money and we have had a fantastic 10nights stay.

E joyed the ambience of the hotel. Lots of comfortable seatz and areas to unwind.

Wonderful hotel, spotless, friendly staff. Entertainment every night. We were on a short b&b break. Excellent range of food for breakfast
Room comfortable. Good location for walks and shops. Good value. Will go again.
