We were absolutely delighted with our stay from start to finish. The hotel has, without a doubt, one of the best locations in Astypalaia, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the beautiful Chora and its iconic castle.
Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our room was cleaned every single day, even on the days when we left late, which was a lovely touch and showed how much attention was given to our comfort.
The breakfast was rich, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of choices to start the day perfectly.
A very special thank you to Vasilis, who was truly exceptional. He was always kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. His genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome and truly added to the wonderful experience.
We will definitely remember this stay for a long time. It made our trip to the magical island of Astypalaia even more beautiful and unforgettable.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Astypalaia!

Simply amazing!
The villa was excellent — extremely clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The private pool on our balcony was amazing and spacious enough for the three of us to really enjoy, while the view was simply breathtaking.
The breakfast was tailor-made to our preferences and always fresh and delicious. We also had fresh towels and bedsheets every day, which made the whole stay feel incredibly comfortable and luxurious.
And then there’s Vassilis, our host, who is genuinely one of the most helpful and caring hosts we’ve met in years. He gave us so many great tips about the island, helped us arrange our cruise, and was always there whenever we needed anything. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay special.
We 100% recommend Irena Residencies and can’t wait to come back to Astypalaia! ❤️

Excellent!
But what made the difference was the only hospitality. The manager of the apartments was polite, always willing to help and made us feel like our home from the first moment. The service was impeccable and his care for the guests really special.
The jacuzzi overlooking the castle and the mills really unique!
