Great hotel
Just returned from a fantastic week at this hotel with my wife,son and grandaughter. Rooms were comfortable (beds the best I've ever had in Greece) and cleaned every day by friendly staff. The pool was large, with enough beds and chairs for everyone, pool bar served nice snacks for lunch and drinks were reasonably priced. Location was perfect with lots of bars and Taverners nearby as well as a nice beach. In the evenings there was a cocktail bar with views of the sunset. Can't fault this hotel at all.

Basic hotel good location.
The Lorenzo is in a good location. Very basic hotel having very dated furniture. Breakfast was ok apart from the bread which was the worst I have ever had. No queues for toaster here as no one could eat it. Linen changed daily and fresh towels also pool towels available. Pool area nice and bar service good. Staff were very friendly. Met some nice people, many were returning year after year. One couple even booked into the same restaurant for 14 nights. Not our cup of tea but each to his own. Good bus service to agastoli. Only 2euros or 30min walk. We walked one day but it was too hot really. Good views on the way. The coastline is very picturesque.

Fab hotel and staff
As a family we have just enjoyed a lovely week at the Lorenzo Hotel.
From check in to the check out everything was so easy. If you are looking for a 5 star bougee hotel Lorenzo is defo not for you. If you are looking for 5 star cleanliness and service this hotel is not far off.
The standards are set high throughout.
The hotel is dated but if you can see past this it is a very well run hotel.
Breakfast is fine but does get very samey after a week. Rooms are spotless and fresh towels given daily. Pool bar and area is kept clean and the staff are fantastic.
Location of this hotel is key. You have the Tavernas and shops within a 5 minute walk. There is multiple beaches within a 15 minute walk with one down the hill 5-10 mins max.
Would we stay here again 100 %. Keep up the good work and we will defo return one day. Thankyou to all the staff for a lovely stay ❤️

Lovely, clean hotel with genuinely friendly staff
We recently stayed at the Lorenzo Hotel in Lassi, Kefalonia, and overall had a very enjoyable stay.
One of the biggest positives was the staff. Everyone we encountered, from the cleaners and reception team to the bar staff, was attentive, friendly and welcoming. Nothing seemed too much trouble, which really added to the experience.
The hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, towels were changed daily, and the bedding was changed during the week. The hotel was clearly well looked after.
The location is also a real positive. The hotel is close to the main road, making it convenient for getting around and accessing the local restaurants, bars and shops, while still providing a comfortable base to return to.
A few things worth knowing
There are a few points I think future guests should be aware of:
* The pool does not have disabled access, so guests with mobility difficulties may not be able to use it.
* There is no separate children’s pool, which may be something families with young children want to consider.
* There are limited plug sockets in the rooms, so taking an extension lead or multi-plug adaptor would be a good idea.
* Rooms facing the reception area have very small balconies. If having a balcony is important to you, it’s worth checking what type of room you’re booking. The sea-view balconies, on the other hand, are very spacious.
* Breakfast is plentiful, with plenty of choice including eggs, mushrooms, cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumber, feta, Greek yoghurt, fresh watermelon, toast, honey, jam and butter. However, the selection can feel quite repetitive if you’re staying for a week or more.
* Bar prices can be on the expensive side, depending on what you’re ordering.
Overall, we found the Lorenzo Hotel to be clean, comfortable and well cared for, with lovely staff who really make the hotel stand out. Its convenient location close to the main road is another bonus. With the points above in mind, we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant base in Lassi.

Amazing hotel!
Just back from a wonderful 10 night stay at Lorenzo.
Not quite sure what other people moan about regarding the hotel? Yes, it’s basic ( most Greek hotels are!), but it’s exceedingly clean. I’ve stayed in 5 stars whose standards are well below Lorenzo’s when it comes to cleanliness.
Breakfast is semi continental, a mixture of hot and cold items. If you want a full English, then don’t expect it at Lorenzo’s!
The staff are brilliant, with a special mention to Alex in the Atmosphere bar. Everyone so friendly and helpful.
If I have anything negative to say…. Anyone can use the pool, which is very unfair on hotel guests as others can take the sun beds and chairs before people have come down from their rooms. Maybe section off a different area for non- residents, so that paying guests get the first pick of the better seats/ loungers.
We had room 219, which was ideally situated. The only issue with it, is that the bathroom window is actually above the neighbouring rooms balcony. So if they smoke (like our neighbours did!), the smell goes into your bathroom. Maybe something that the management could address?
The hotel is situated just off the main ‘strip’, around a 50m walk from the hotel, yet you never hear any road noise or noise from the restaurants. A bit of a longer downhill walk to the beaches. Our favourite being Paliostifado, about 400m down the road. Two lasses that run the little cafe are fabulous.
As for the restaurants, you’ll never struggle finding a good one. Tanu’s and Tzogias being a huge hit with me and the missus.
If you want to go into Argostoli (what a beautiful place), it’s a half hour walk over the hill, or if you want to take the coastal route it takes between 1.5 hours and 3 hours depending how many times you stop to take in the wonderful scenery. Alternatively, the bus is €2 each and takes around 10 minutes. Taxis are around the €8 mark.
All-in-all a great hotel in a great location, with great restaurants!
