Outstanding and unique experience

Stayed her for a couple of nights in June visiting friends on the island. Travelled by ferry from Ikaria, also fabulous, via Mykonos. We were met at the port by Maddy the owners daughter who looked after us very well. She was super friendly, and always available and on call for information about the property, restaurants and the island in general. The accommodation, a converted windmill, consisted of three levels. Kitchen on the ground floor, bathroom above, bedroom at the top. All nicely equipped, very quirky, very comfortable. The accommodation benefits from spacious terracing with fabulous views of the town (old and new). There is also shade and shelter for an al fresco breakfast and / or sundowners. All of this in a quiet area just a short work from the attractions of Syros Town. You won't walk back though. Very steep. Taxi recommended. One of the biggest and surprise benefits of the accommodation was the food and drink provided. Wonderful breads, wine, jams, fruits, cheeses, juices, you name it. All of the highest quality! We loved our short stay here. Professional first class service for sure. We even got a ride back to the port from the owner. Should you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Memorable stay at the charming windmill

My partner and myself had the most lovely stay at the windmill. I have always been fascinated by windmills as a child so staying in one was a dream came true. The windmill is located at the top of the hill and Mary was nice enough to come pick us at the port before our rental car arrived. The windmill is a perfect and romantic accommodation for couples with an enchanting view of Syros and a beautiful garden. We visited during the chilly winter and the electric blanket kept us warm and comfortable at night. Be prepared for some steps - it’s worth it though. Mary is a super lovely owner and we will love to visit again in the summer someday.

Enchanting Stay in a Windmill!

This was the absolute best stay of our month-long trip to Greece. The windmill is magical and charming. Mary, the owner, can not do enough to make sure your stay is perfect in every way. She even went to a local bakery to get gluten-free treats for me. Every detail was perfect. The outside area was perfect to work at in the mornings. The small village of Anos Siros, and the beautiful churches all add to the enchantment of this windmill. Thank you Mary ...we will return!

Fantastic windy hill

Great location with the fantastic view. The condition of the windmill is excellent - renovated, beautiful and comfortable. The owners make the stay very enjoyable with great service and tasty food for the breakfast. Highly recommended.

Memorable experience

Great location, layout, atmosphere, view, amenities and facilities. The windmill turned into a cozy, beautiful, yet very practical and fully equipped sanctuary, ideal for couples, families, group of friends (like ourselves) or even solo travelers. Mary, an amazing , from the warmest welcoming on our arrival day, to the wonderful assistance and family-like treatment during our entire stay. A unique experience that nobody would want to miss, definitely going back!
