The perfect place to stay on Andros
The pool area is perfect for a dip after a day sightseeing or on the beach. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to one of the island’s best beaches, Agios Petros.
The breakfast - under the olive trees and cooked by Giannis’s mum - is truly amazing. Beautiful yoghurt, granola, fruit, pastries and cooked options all brought to your table, no wilting buffet!
A special thank you to Theano - every morning with a wide smile she gave us recommendations for beaches and restaurants - we took every bit of advice and weren’t disappointed once.
The hotel is near a strip of good restaurants along the beach. Try Giannoulis - serving great traditional meals since 1958! Also Topos, a bit more pricey - they also run the cool beach bar opposite so the vibes are good.
For beaches, Vitali is hard to beat with a beautiful beach bar. The drive is a bit hairy but fine (even in a Fiat Punto!) if you go slowly. Vlychada beach is simply stunning… remote, quiet but beautiful for swimming. Again, see it as a fun adventure dodging the potholes!

Some of the island’s most beautiful beaches are just around the corner, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the port, which makes arrival and day trips very easy.
A special thank you goes to Anastasia, who was incredibly warm and supportive throughout our stay. She helped us with everything related to our child and made us feel truly cared for – her kindness made a big difference.
If we ever return to Andros, we would definitely choose Hotel Isida again without hesitation!

Beautiful little hotel - very peaceful
We stayed for 2 nights, and we were so glad we chose Isida. Great location close to the port and also a few minute walk from the beach, with a good size car park.
Room was lovely - clean, modern but still felt authentic. Bed was extremely comfortable, whilst the rooms were well sound-proofed. The hotel was very peaceful, we had a ground floor suite onto the pool, but we couldn’t hear anything at all with the doors closed! Pool was a good size - we were often the only ones around the pool.
The breakfast was lovely, a menu with a good selection of options (eggs, yoghurt/nourish bowls, fruit, pancakes, etc), everything was cooked well, and the area was relaxing.
All staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, especially Anastasia.
Highly recommend, and will definitely return to this hotel if ever in Andros again.
