Excellent location for visiting the Evros Delta

Good friendly staff. Rooms fine with 2 not so good comments. The bed was very firm and the shower had a curtain around it which sucked inwards when the shower was in use. Meals were delicious especially the Greek salads. I was surprised that fish was not on the menu being so close to the sea. Excellent location for the Delta which is a must for birders.

Friendly people, very good location for visiting the Evros delta if you're interested in birdwatching.

Almost everything is right about this hotel: excellent beds, nice people, helpfull staff. The only point on which the do not shine is the breakfast -- but we experienced the same in the other hotels we stayed at during our 10 day trip to north-eastern greece. And their coffee is excellent.

Clean and comfortable

Stayed here for a couple of nights while bird watching around the Evros delta. Very friendly staff and evening meals very good. Breakfast not the best but OK. A good base for exploring this region. Room was comfortable and warm. Shower took a long time to get hot and the curtain a challenge but apart from that it was fine.

Why stay in Alexandoupolis

Very good clean rooms, excellent restaurant,wonderful family that will make you feel welcome and cannot do enough for you.Perfect for visiting the Evros Delta and surrounding areas.As a birdwatcher this hotel is perfect,you can also sit on the balcony in an evening and birdwatch. We stay here 2 or 3 times every and have never had a bad experience.

A walk at sunset in the marshlands of the Delta, waking up to the birds and good coffee!

We chose this hotel for one night before taking the boat to Samothraki. It turned out to be a great alternative to staying in Alexandroupolis. We were a three minute walk from the information center of the Delta Evros, where we booked a boat trip around the Delta for the next day, as the boat to Samathraki left in the afternoon. The Delta is a magical area to walk in and it's as close as can be to the hotel. We would have considered exploring it longer, but a permit is needed in advance (we didn't do our homework) to see the more eastern area.
The hotel was clean, good shower, good food in the taverna next door (it's the same family), very friendly, easy parking, great value for the money --- and the birds... ! We were so fascinated by the Delta Evros, and we liked the hotel so much that we stayed again for one night on our way back from Samothraki before returning to Thessaloniki.
It might look a bit run down from the main road, but the interior is just fine.
