Super house near the beach, great pool

We were here 8 years ago. The facility has become even better, fast good Service by the owner even before the trip. We had ruled ourselves out once, within 10 minutes came replacement.Good value for money

After transferring the money to Active Travel in Hamburg we did not get any news from them for about 15 days,they did not answer the phone either.Then we received the voucher and we thought everything would be fine. We arrived yesterday finding out that we do not have the studios.Another lady came and said that we have our rooms in her Villa which is 3 times further from the sea,and does not have a swimming pool etc...Do not book Villa Linnea,the owner cannot be trusted and you can get nothing after paying...

Not even a loo roll!

Arrived at linnea first impressions poor. Key not in door as advised . Had to find someone then key didn't work and door sticking. Eventually got in and two bed apartment very small. No loo roll left which is a first so didn't find that very welcoming.
No air con or fans in rooms or main part of apartment. Next to six German students in one two bed apartment! who were loud.
Pool for anyone's use and out of ten sun loungers only three were in working order.
Villa between two very noisy bars that were still playing loud music at 4am!
Not much in the village and not for people with mobility problems. Villa has stairs to And from apartment which are steep. And don't expect the bar man to help with your case. He just sat and watched myself and my mother struggle with our case.
They tell you to be out of apartment at 9am which is the earliest I've ever had.
Bathroom a disaster, extremely small and no extractor fan. Not cleaned once whilst we were there and always damp and wet as the shower curtain was at an
Angle so impossible to shower without a flood.
I wouldn't recommend staying here and found that there was nothing in this village to recommend a holiday.

Disappointed

Liapades is a lovely village with a sweet if small shingle beach and the clearest water I've seen in Greece. Sadly Villa Linnea was not quite what we were expecting. The pool is mot for the villa apartments only but is attached to a bar and open to the public. We were unlucky enough to be there the same week as a group of 50 German students who had also been to,d the pool was for their use only! They were lovely but very loud and it was pretty hard to relax around the pool with only 10 sun loungers! I complained to Herr Shaefer and Activ Travel and they didn't even apologise for the misleading information! The villa was fine - clean and new - but tiny and with no fans or air con and between two bars that played loud music til 2.30 am every night so it was pretty hard to sleep with the windows open. All in all a real shame as Liapades really is a great place which I'd recommend. Just don't stay at Villa Linnea!

Beautiful part of the island lovely people. Great place to stay

Rooms have been recently refurbished making it probably the best place to stay in Liapades. Very beautiful village rooms not to far from beach and next door to the use of a large swimming pool, virtually in the same grounds. Very nice bar area for the evening. The owner Dimitri is extremely friendly and helpful.
