Pleasant Surprise

I arrived in Kumasi without lodging arrangements and selected this place based on recommendations. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. I was given a coconut drink after I completed the check-in.
The in-house restaurant is small with a limited menu, but it served a good dinner. I placed a breakfast order in the evening and they prepared it fresh when I arrived in the dining room in the morning. The only thing people may not like is breakfast isn’t served until 7:30a.m., but this worked for my travel schedule.
The room was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable, especially when I compared it to the other hotels I’ve had during this trip.
I do not know if the hotel has an elevator, which could be an issue for some travellers.
I definitely recommend this hotel and will consider it on future trips through Kumasi.

Terrific stay in Kumasi at Frederick’s Lodge

Great stay at Frederick’s Lodge in Kumasi. The property is clean, safe and well maintained. The best thing however is the kind and attentive staff. We particularly appreciated the help of Emanual, Francis and Kathryn. Emanual made sure we were able to have an early breakfast when we needed to get on the road and even brought breakfast to the rooftop lounge for us in the morning. A terrific first class experience. We’ll be back.

Absolutely Delightful Boutique Hotel

I'm so glad that we chose to stay at Frederick's Lodge. After reading all of the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to make a reservation and it did not disappoint. I travel a lot and I must admit I can be picky. My husband and I were incredibly pleased with our stay. The booking was very smooth. The woman at the front desk (Priscilla I think was her name) was informative and professional. I had a lot of questions and she patiently answered them all. The manager Martha assisted us also when we checked in and she was also informative and professional. She explained all of details we needed to make our stay comfortable i.e. the restaurant hours, how to order food for delivery, etc.
The property is meticulously maintained and very clean. I always bring my own bed linen when I travel and I didn't feel the need to use it because our room was very clean. The rooms are well appointed. Our bed was so comfortable. The staff is amazing. They were so kind, professional, attentive, and helpful. We felt at home and comfortable very quickly. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. The restaurant supervisor, Baffour, was very attentive and he helped us select our meals and made sure we received them promptly.
A big group arrived while we were there but we didn't hear any of the other guests when we went to our room. Finally, the location was a huge highlight for us. It felt like a retreat since it was quiet, tucked away in a charming neighborhood but centrally located, and within walking distance from the mall. We are looking forward to staying there in the future and going to the beautiful rooftop again. We've decided we will stay at Fredrick's Lodge going forward when we visit Kumasi!

Kumasi Gem

We are a start up company and decided to stay at Frederick’s Lodge. From helping us to plan our accommodation to the actual service received, the leadership and staff at FL was amazing. They welcomed our 18 travelers with professionalism and white glove treatment. The property had all the amenities our group needed. The owner, Kofi, is an amazing human being. He sat with us for hours and provided cultural insight. We will certainly return to Frederick’s Lodge.

Neat and affordable hotel accommodation in Kumasi

Easily accessible in town, calm and serene atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable and the services while affordable, provide good value for money. It is clean whenever I come and the rooftop terrace is a must try.
