BridgeView Resort
Akosombo is home to BridgeView Resort. Local points of interest include Adome Bridge and Akosombo Dam. Along with 3 restaurants, this hotel has 4 outdoor pools and a full-service spa. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include a bar/lounge, a poolside bar, and a children's pool. Bathrooms are shared and change of towels is available on request. BridgeView Resort offers 17 air-conditioned accommodations with complimentary bottled water and slippers. Beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets and premium bedding. 75-inch Smart televisions come with premium digital channels, pay movies, and Netflix. Guests have access to shared bathrooms. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and toothbrushes and toothpaste. Hiding Under The Bridge(view)
Had spaces accommodation for family , food was ok though takes time for order to be serve.
Staff were hospitable and welcoming.
Clean Pool and very wonderful boat ride under the bridge.
Nice place for family vacation

BRIDGEVIEW'S LACK OF HOSPITALITY
My family and I arrived a day before the wedding after 3–4 months of planning and communication with the resort, primarily through the manager, Justice. Our experience started on a very poor note. We were not welcomed or assisted upon arrival; we had to carry our luggage ourselves from the base of the mountainside to our rooms while staff members ignored us. For a family that spent over 200,000 GHC, I expected at least basic hospitality and a proper reception.
After hours of frustration, I requested to see the manager to express my concerns, which led to a lot of unnecessary back and forth rather than any meaningful resolution.
We had also paid for a welcome dinner for about 60 guests, with clear instructions for plated service (one plate per person). However, the resort ignored this and turned it into a buffet. As a result, about 15 guests didn’t get any food. This was completely unacceptable and avoidable.
On the wedding day, things got even worse. My decorator was stopped from properly setting up the cabana because nails were not allowed to be used. This restriction was never communicated beforehand, despite the fact that my decorator had traveled from Accra to inspect the venue and ask questions in advance. Because of this last-minute interference, the decoration of my ceremony area was far below expectations, and I hold the resort fully responsible for that.
Overall, my experience with the team was extremely underwhelming and upsetting. The staff came across as unprofessional, unwelcoming, and overly focused on money rather than guest experience. Despite months of communication and the scale of our event, there was not even a simple thank-you or follow-up message to me after we checked out.
For your peace of mind, I would only recommend this resort for photos or video shoots; the views are its only real advantage. I would strongly advise against hosting any important events here.
