We came to spend Easter WE 2026 at the stork nest... very nice establishment, nice place, very nice room, beautiful landscape... everything was perfect! BUT... THERE IS A "BUT".... the bells of St Ulrich's Church (church adjoining the rooms), ring every 15 minutes! Including the night!!! ---> a real hell for me, who did not manage to close an eye of the night, during our last 2 nights.... (this despite the earplugs). A real pity, because to go to this charming place without being able to rest and sleep at night, is really a pity .... the worst was Easter Monday at 5am when the bells rang for a very long time!!! It is very unpleasant.... (despite a very charming setting).

Ideal for a visit to Alsace by car.

Great place to stay, nice cosy old building with all the modern perks, great airco.
Easy to unload your luggage, and park for free at 200 meters, nice and safe.
Great service from host mrs Carmen and her husband.
Real nice old building, stork on the roof, and very nicely situated in the center of the Alsace area, 5 minutes to Riquewihr, 10 to Kaysersberg, 20 minutes to Colmar or haute Koenigsburg castle.
Comfortable beds, cool and quiet airco, really loved our stay and would recommend and return!

A little Gem, quiet, comfortable and a wonderful breakfast

Lovely Hosts nothing was too much trouble, even welcomed our Shiba inu.
Very large, clean and beautifully decorated rooms with a nice comfortable large bed in each room.
Breakfast was delicious, home cooked produce and lots of choice, so beautifully presented it exceeded our expectations!
The room was lovely and warm.
Loved Himawari the Shiba Inu.

Relaxed garden

We stayed Three nights in Zellenberg at Au Nid de Cigogne. Lovely village with one starred restaurant and at least Three others. Great views over the vineyards Froehn, Schoenenbourg and Sporen and Riquewihr. Perfectly located in the heart of Alsace. Au Nid de Cigogne is a calm Place, no hurry. no stress. Great breakfast served in the garden.
