Left without eating
Short stop for lunch on the way back from vacation.
arrived at 12:15 p.m. table for 2.
at the time of ordering my husband asks for a dish we learn that there are crosses on the menu that correspond to dishes not available. there are many crosses. so we order something else. and we are told to order the desserts at the same time especially for the chocolate lava cake. we order 2 crème brûlées. the wait is long. a waitress brings us a plate that does not match our order and there we hear the boss getting angry to find out where this plate is going. half an hour later the waiter tells me that there is no more Burger that I ordered. so I change my dish. 3/4 of an hour after our arrival, we are still not served. fortunately we have a bottle of water. we hear the boss say to the waiter: you will say that the crème brûlées are frozen and that they will have to be put in the oven. the waiter comes back to see us and tells us that there is no more crème brûlée. that is too much for us. I ask what there is actually to eat. having no answer we leave without eating after 40 minutes.

The room is very poorly equipped, without air conditioning. It's hell trying to sleep with the windows open that face the main street.
I absolutely do not recommend this place... bed of 140.
Even the plumbing is completely corroded, causing leaks everywhere.
You don't need to be thick to fit into the shower, which is tiny.

Highly alcoholic boss
A crazy story!!!
4 nights booked in this hotel in the middle of a long weekend…
Arriving at the end of the day after a 9 hour drive with our 3 children (2 bedrooms), time to leave our suitcases in the rooms, we noticed that one of the rooms had a faulty lock... during our dinner at the hotel's restaurant. hotel in the next hour, we decide to report it to the very friendly staff present. He intends to come and see the problem and tries to resolve it quickly... then an individual arrives without introducing himself, HIGHLY ALCOHOLIC! He turns out to be the BOSS of the establishment!!!
In bad faith, he seeks to demonstrate the proper functioning of the lock found to be defective by his own employees by entering the room and PUSHING my eldest daughter against the wall.
Then came the degenerating remarks and hissing on insults, telling us that they were BROKING HIS ASS, BY ORDERING US TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY!!!
It was his own employee, stunned by his behavior, who intervened and asked him to leave. The employee, apologizing, asked us not to leave because we did not know what to do during this weekend with no availability 50 km away from the futuroscope.
With fear in our stomachs, we decided to contact the gendarmerie who intervened within half an hour without being able to meet anyone in the closed hotel/restaurant...
The next day being at futuroscope, the employee concerned telephoned us to apologize again (BUT NEVER AN EXCUSE FROM THE BOSS IN PERSON!) telling us that the gendarmerie came to discuss this incident with the person concerned, that we could stay without fear and that yesterday's meal will be offered to us...
CONCLUSION: we are disgusted to have had to leave money to this individual, but the current tourist attendance as well as the Futuroscope park tickets paid prevented us from fleeing, as well as the bank imprint left at the time of booking...
Personal message to the director:
Sir, you are free to react to this comment on the various broadcast platforms, but it is by telephone or in person that you should have expressed yourself, even the intervention of the gendarmerie did not succeed in presenting your case apologies... if you think that a simple commercial approach through your employees would be enough to silence this story, your arrogance, your pretension and your alcoholism must not let you manage a tourist establishment!!!
Hats off to the self-control and kindness of your staff, stunned by the situation…

bank card abuse
If you pass through St Georges, check your bank accounts carefully when you return. We stayed there last August. When we arrived, we were asked to pay for the room immediately because we were not having breakfast. Ok. Then we had dinner there. We were asked to pay in the evening as the room was already paid for. Always Ok. Also, what was our astonishment to discover, upon receipt of our bank card statement, that the next day, an identical sum had been taken from us, as if we had left like thieves. Now, if there is a thief, it is not on our side. We called them to report the "incident". The person on the other end of the line expressed neither surprise nor apology...No doubt they find his actions normal and are accustomed to doing so. We have sent them all the supporting documents as they requested but are still awaiting reimbursement.
