Restaurant to avoid

A night in a Finnish pod. Trip via Rhona by bike. A 3-star that isn't worth it. A pool in the afternoon that has more leaves in it than a cup of tea. A fan to be less hot, we appreciate the gesture but a minimum of cleanliness as well. The worst part is the restaurant, a team of 5 people overwhelmed with 25 people to serve, even though the daily special was ordered before 7 p.m. and the restaurant menu is not big, just pizza and the daily special. Arrived at 8 p.m. as the manager had asked us to, and more than a 1 hour 45 minute wait for a daily special and a pizza. To top it all off, I order a Burger pizza and they serve me a kebab; needless to say, after waiting more than 1 hour 30 minutes, you eat it because otherwise the pizza ends up as a frisbee in the middle of the restaurant. Obviously we didn't have dessert, we didn't want to go to bed at midnight when a big day of cycling awaited us the next day. Such a long wait for a table of 2 people is no longer a lack of organization but a lack of respect. A piece of advice: eat in town. Otherwise the restrooms were clean.

Good overnight camping

We had booked a mobile home for 1 night on our trip south.
Everything was there that we needed.
Could have been a little cleaner.
In the evening a nice pizza eaten in the restaurant for an affordable price.
For overnight do fine.
Also had a look in the (fairly new) sanitary building. Looked good.
Would not book a whole holiday here so soon, to do for 1 or several days just fine.

La Rochechondrie: a great discovery!

Campsite located in the grounds of a charming residence. The site has been well laid out to accommodate campers. Clean and functional sanitary facilities and mostly recent. Very nice snack/restaurant terrace open late. Good quality of products served, price average for what is charged. Pleasant staff. Pleasant swimming pool with its changing lights and open until 11 p.m. (!). Simple and well-maintained setting. On the other hand, access by bike (not very practical - poorly served - because the city has not created any cycle paths in the city center which is nevertheless frequented by cycle travelers on the Via Rhona. We recommend!

Great campsite and great team!

Great campsite with a family dimension. A warm welcome, a wonderful team! Without reservation, no problem, we sit wherever we want!
Excellent swimming pool and paddling pool, different menus throughout the day.
The only thing missing is a small grocery store with the base. Because a little isolated from the village.
