Disappointed!
As a loyal customer and member of the ALL – Accor program, I am very disappointed with my two recent stays at the Novotel Avignon Nord (Sorgues).
During my first stay, on Friday, July 17 (room 109), an accessible room (adapted for people with reduced mobility) was assigned to me even though it was not the category I had booked on the ALL Accor site. This room was not suited to our needs: toilet too high, bed too low, and my husband even bumped his head. Behind the two pillows was a wall lamp, invisible at first glance. One wonders why!
What a surprise it was upon my return from vacation on Saturday, August 8. Having taken care to book in advance, via the official website, a room on an upper floor, I naturally thought that my request would be respected.
Upon my arrival, the receptionist gave me room 109, exactly the same accessible room as during my previous stay. (I told myself, this is a joke).
I immediately explained the situation and refused this room, which did not correspond to my booking or our needs. I was first told that the hotel was full. I had to insist and categorically refuse this room for a solution to finally be found: I was upgraded to the top floor, with a smile.
I acknowledge that the situation was finally resolved, and I thank the receptionist for finding a solution. But I find it abnormal that a loyal customer, an ALL member, having booked and paid for a specific room category, has to negotiate upon arrival to get what they had booked.
A mistake can happen, but ending up in the exact same room, despite a request for an upper floor, unfortunately gives the feeling that the customer's requests are not really taken into consideration.
For my future visits to the region, I will choose another address from now on.

Gorgeous decor
Regarding the dining options, the breakfast had a great variety of food available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM weekdays. I did notice that the restaurant gets very busy every night, so booking ahead is definitely necessary.
The only downside to the experience was that the staff seemed too busy to assist which was a real shame given how wonderful the rest of the facilities are. Asking for anything seemed to be a bit of a burden.

Beautiful atmosphere
The pool is not heated, but with the intense heat, it is still quite refreshing.
The room is very spacious. With three people, we were not cramped at all.
The restaurant is of good quality with tapas or dishes, but the sides cannot be changed.
