Good but...
The first point is undoubtedly the one that surprised me the most: I never felt like I was arriving at a 5-star establishment. No valet, no one to help us with the luggage, a pleasant but rather impersonal welcome. The team is smiling and available, but composed of many young employees who sometimes lack experience, which is felt in the level of service.
The hotel, however, has an exceptional asset: the view of the lake is absolutely magnificent. Direct access to the bike path and the pedestrian path that run along the lake is a real plus. The pool is pleasant and perfectly maintained.
The rooms are comfortable, but without a real "wow" factor for this category of establishment. The bathrooms are quite small and, in our room, the shower seals could have used better maintenance.
The point that disappointed us the most concerns the atmosphere. Upon our arrival, we were reminded that diving into the pool was prohibited. However, during our stay, several children spent their time jumping into the water, screaming, and even playing soccer in the middle of the lounge chairs in the garden, without any reminder being given. At the same time, two children occupied the room above ours and were running around as early as 7 a.m. We had come to rest, but unfortunately that was not the case. I have no problem with the presence of children in a hotel; however, I think that an establishment of this category must ensure that the rules it sets itself are respected in order to preserve the tranquility of all.
The breakfast is decent, without being exceptional. The dinner was good, but the service turned out to be quite slow.
In summary, the setting is superb and the view of the lake is unquestionably the establishment's strong point. On the other hand, considering the price charged and the 5-star rating, I am missing that little extra service, attention, and high standard that really makes the difference. I expected more in terms of the overall experience and I am leaving with the feeling that something is still missing to be fully at the level of its standing.

Discovery
Dinner for two. Very nice decor, friendly and attentive staff. We had a pleasant time, delicious dishes... discovering basil ice cream... surprising but enjoyable. Thank you and don't change anything.
