Someone tried to break into our room late night - No security on site

We stayed in this cheap hotel during our short visit to Paris.
On our final night in the hotel, we were shocked as someone attempted to get inside our hotel room!! They somehow opened our door which is supposed to be a key code entry. Fortunately we had locked the door with the metal key chain. Once the person realised, they slammed our room door shut and ran away down the hall.
A short while later, we saw three people in the car park, drinking wine from bottles and being loud so we assume it was a drunk person trying to get into rooms.
There is no staff on site after 9pm (as per their booking information), so we were literally on our own. We had to flee the hotel after midnight because we were scared they would try to get in the room again.
Outside of this, the room was terrible. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a floor. There was a sink by the bed instead of in the bathroom. And the shower was awful.
We have raised a major complaint investigation with our booking company over this. Totally unacceptable.

No staff at night

The hotel has no staff or security overnight. Someone attempted to get into our room at night, the only thing that stopped them was the chain keeping the door closed. Then they bolted back up the corridor. We were so terrified we fled the hotel, drove straight back to Calais to get the earliest ferry we could home.

Nous vous remercions pour votre commentaire suite à votre séjour dans notre établissement.
Nous contestons fortement ce fait tel qu'il est relaté. En effet notre établissement est bien sécurisé, avec un présence humaine toute la nuit et joignable à tout heure via deux interphone; l'un dans le sas à l'extérieur et le deuxième à la réception bien visible de tous
Deuxièmement l'hôtel ne peut être accessible que par code unique de la chambre , la chambre aussi ne peut accessible que par le code unique qui vous ai communiqué à l'arrivée. Et comme vous l'avez si bien dit, la chambre est aussi equipée d'une chainette de sécurité à l'intérieur.
Nous avons également une ligne d'appel direct aux forces de l'ordre, pompier et SAMU.
Nous ignorons la motivation de votre commentaire mais il est très loin de la réalité et ne reflète aucunement notre établissement.

Very disappointed

Clean hotel, very good reception, on the other hand minimalist room: small sink in one corner of the room, a tiny shower cabin toilet installed at once, very difficult to shower without flooding... we feel oppressed in this room , the creak of the parquet is also very embarrassing, the breakfast is correct
