Bel endroit et prix raisonnable

Un bel endroit, typique, confortable sans être tape-à-l'œil. Accueil très sympathique. Comme j'ai pu le lire sur certains avis, certains seront peut-être surpris d'être face au quai où descendent les touristes mais cela ne nous a pas gênés. Les touristes descendent du bateau et ne viennent pas lorgner votre terrasse. Le logement est bien situé, légèrement à l'écart des restaurants et de la musique le soir. Parfait!

We'll go back (still!)

In fact, it’s hard to give an overall score. It is finally an extraordinary stay on an extraordinary place. The accommodation is right in front of the pier, well located because next to everything (at the same time Port Cros center is very small ). The accommodation is generally well maintained. The negative point in my opinion is the equipment: we are close to retirement in a Zen monastery: very clean bathroom but without any shelf any tablet; no table no chair inside the room; nothing to spread the linen on the terrace, which you also share with the next room so you are 2 meters from the neighbors’ table, a small fabric or other for a little privacy maybe? a half bedside table for 3, zero glass to drink even water, no fridge, etc... and we are not on a Formula 1 rate! Where it’s much better, it’s the 1/2 pension formula with the Southern Bistrot that is really at the top, at all levels. So it balances because it remains an expensive but very exotic stay.

Poor customer relations

We were extremely disappointed by the way in which we were treated by the Maison du Port team: even though we had agreed with the person in charge of reservations for a stay of 6 people at the beginning of June (1 night + full board), our reservation was canceled in favor of another group who stayed 2 nights. Our contact did not deign to warn us and I learned about it when paying the deposit... The establishment is clearly taking advantage of the scarcity of accommodation on the island to choose the most "profitable" customers!!

Le bonheur est là!

De l’arrivée à notre départ tout était parfait!
Jo nous a accueilli dès notre sortie du bateau et nous a indiqué tous les bons plans et belles plages de l’île.
La chambre est simple mais il y a tout le nécessaire, avec surtout une grande terrasse avec la vu directe sur le port.
Le dîner et les petits déjeuner ce passe au bistrot sun avec une équipe dynamique, jeune ou même en fin de saison l’ambiance est excellente!
On choisi entrée-plat-dessert à la carte tout y est bon et frais avec une mention spéciale pour le poisson du jour ( loup ) c’était succulent!
On y retournera c’est sûr !

Déception sur toute la ligne

La chambre du port se présente comme une chambre d’hôtes, or nous n’avons connu « l’hôte » qu’au moment du paiement... aucun accueil, aucun conseil pendant nos 2 nuits à Port-Cros. Contrairement à d’autres commentaires, la situation est loin d’être idéale : au pied du débarcadère des navettes avec un incessant flot de touristes de 8h à 19h15 (dernière navette!). À tel point que la porte fenêtre de la chambre doit restée fermée si on veut éviter que les touristes plongent dans notre intimité ! La terrasse de la chambre se situe à quelques mètres du local poubelles de l’île (matin et soir le camion des poubelles se gare devant la chambre pour vider les poubelles... odeur assurée !). Le dîner est quelconque, le service peu professionnel (les serveurs ne portent pas de masques alors que c’est obligatoire). Prix sans aucun rapport avec les prestations offertes.
