what a beautiful place ..
a superb house; our room with dressing room and bathroom delighted us.
the gardens are wonderfully maintained by karen and Robert our guests.
an ideal swimming pool for the beautiful days that finally arrive...
I recommend dinner d hotes which is high quality
Breakfast included taken on the terrace is also complete yogurt fresh fruit cereal pastries etc.Terrace where you can have a drink at the end of the day.

Karen and Robert are present just right; neither too much nor not enough and we enjoyed that too

Very nice, for the quiet, the welcome.of the owners, the green setting, the impec family suite

Totally charming!
We stumbled across this guest house as we attended a wedding nearby. Karen and Robert could. Not have done more for us- I had a list of questions and requirements traveling with a 1 year old. We had dinner twice on their beautiful terrace overlooking their lush garden and our 1 year old loved splashing about in the swimming pool. The room was so spacious and beautifully decorated, it was such an enjoyable stay and incredibly reasonable rates.

Maison de la Chasse
Karen and Robert welcomed our large group to the 5 bed 'Maison De La Chasse' Gite. Situated on a hill top over looking the near by river. This large detached converted Villa, brimming with French charm and character. Out -door living is definitely the way to enjoy this villa with its out-door Pool, covered eating area and out-door lounge. A large kitchen dining area takes care of you if the rain decides to fall.
Definitely will be looking to re-book this accommodation in a charming , quite part of rural France.

Exceptional!
An amazing place with exceptional hosts.
From the moment we drove up the private driveway, Karen and Robert made us feel so welcome. We were given a personal tour of the house, gardens and pool area.
The initial plan was to use the Gite for self catering holiday for our family of four, but that soon changed. The dining experience on offer, (arrange with some notice), surpassed our expectations. The combination of Karen creating wonderful food and Robert being the perfect host, the whole dining experience was out of this world. We ended up having 3 evening meals and 2 breakfasts.
The breakfast consisted of freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolate and the most amazing walnut bread along with fresh fruit salad and home made preserves - Ginger and Rhubarb being my favourite.
The dining was tailor made as two on our family were vegetarians with all 3 courses being freshly cooked to the highest standards by Karen with Robert on hand to give advice on wine and places to visit. All meals were had on the patio area overlooking the gardens and pool.
The Main house and Gites are finished to a high standard with excellent facilities.
The larger of the two pools is directly accessed via the main house and smaller Gites has beautiful gardens surrounding it with a shaded pergola with fast furnishes to get out of the hot summer sun. We made friends with the family staying the the larger Site and noted it was of the same high standards with a private pool and outdoor covered seating area's.
The highlight of the holiday was an invitation from Karen and Robert to go to the local Village, (Saint Germain de Confelons) and sample local suppliers foods and wines with everything cooked freshly on site with tables and chairs set up for all to use. A wonderful evening was had.
In summary we had a wonderful holiday, have recommended La Grange Terrou to many friends and are already planing our next visit.
